Well, you've read the notes, the notes were good and frustrating, and now it is time for you to post until the good and frustrating cows come home.

And the word of the day is: MAJORLY!

Please use the word in a sentence.

"I am MAJORLY excited to see today's Kritzerland show!" :D

I'll watch the show on my computer, but move to my tablet for the Zoom party.  My computer doesn't have a camera.

Right now, I'm updating the apps on my tablet.  I haven't done that on that tablet (I have three) since May 5.  Glad I thought of it now.

I can't wait for the Kritzerland show!  But first, I'm off to sleep.

Have a good day, all!

It was freezing last night. Luckily I had two, and sometime three, cats snuggling up to me, and that helped a lot. Luckily, I prefer this weather to 90 degree weather.

Vanity production or not, the film version of Lucky Stiff stinks. The director of the film and I did not get along at Goodspeed in 1998 on a production of Redhead, and I decided that he simply was inept with musicals. I ran into him a couple of years later when I saw a comedy he had directed quite nicely. He was much friendlier to me than I was to him, and I decided that we were simply a case of oil and water. Then I saw Come From Away, which he directed, and it was brilliantly staged. I also liked his direction of the movie Jeffrey.

So I kept watching Lucky Stiff, with all these annoying animation sequences during the songs, and I kept thinking, it's Redhead Redux!

I have been sitting here listening in abject astonishment to my DH telling me about "Ghost Tours," a hometown tradition in his small southern Minnesota city of birth.

A group of people are guided around a cemetery, and at various stops a costumed person "pops" out from behind a gravestone, and delivers a monologue as that person about their life.

I'm not sure whether to grab the popcorn or a straighjacket.

Around noon I’m going to a friend’s Memorial Day gathering wearing double layers from head to foot. Normally I love this gathering but I have no enthusiasm for it today. It’s just important to me because of what it will mean for my friend to have a few people show up and not cancel due to the weather. I’ll have a perfectly good time once there, and I have the show tonight to look forward to.

I don't know if I'll catch the show tonight or watch it tomorrow on YouTube. Everything depends on how my legs are doing and the pains. And the meds.

AND - for the first time in my life - the Indianapolis 500 is not blacked-out in my area.  I can watch it live.

It was first broadcast in 1949 on local station WFBM, Channel 6, the future home of Miss Frances Farmer.  But after that we were unable to get ANY of the feeds.....

Today, however, the ban has been lifted.  They say 135,000 masked people will be at the Speedway....half full....

So I will probably watch the cars go round and round for awhile.

I also remembered another Clint Eastwood movie that I really like:

Where Eagles Dare.

Happy Sunday to everyone.  There's a brand new Broadway Radio Show up on this here site for your listening pleasure.  I had a fun chat with Tony Award winner Robert L. Freedman, writer of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder about his new book all about writing musicals and in particular the writing of this Tony winning Best Musical.  Check it out!
