A vampire's favorite Sondheim lyric:

"And one for Molar."

You mean Mol(d)ar(via)!

You need seagulls for that!

Bat's do it too:

see terrorists handbook, p146:

Main Entry: gua·no
Function: noun
Pronunciation: 'gwä-(")nO
Etymology: Spanish, from Quechua wanu fertilizer, dung
: a substance composed chiefly of the excrement of seafowl and used as a fertilizer ; also : a similar substance (as bat excrement or cannery waste) especially when used for fertilizer [to be used in making truck bombs].

You mean "Franglish" because it's half in French and half in English and... half in both!

Ginny - I'm hoping  that still fits the schedules of the people going to DROWSY CHAPERONE on Thursday, Oct. 5th to grab a snack afterwards.

The show is fairly short, over by 9:50 at the latest (no intermission), so it wouldn't be that terribly late a night.

Sounds good to me.  Maybe my niece will join us.

Finished Arabesque and will now start something else.  Also haven't heard from Mr. Spirtas, and if I haven't heard by two, then we'll have to have our meeting another day.

Finished Arabesque is the song that was replaced by Finishing The Hat!

Day turned hot quickly this morning, and all that cooling down of the house didn't last long. It's 86 right now. Ugh!

And now...I REALLY must pull myself away from all the fun and frivolity of HHW.

In a little while (a Once Upon a Mattress reference ;)), my sister, niece and I will be going downtown to enjoy the last day of Olympia Harbor Days!

Harbor Days is an annual festival where tugboats return to the southernmost tip of Puget Sound for three days of entertainment, food, art, history, and a last farewell to the summer. Vintage, working and retired tugboats are moored at Olympia's Percival Landing. Many of them are open for tour on Saturday of the festival. Be on hand at noon Sunday as the tugs leave shore to participate in the Annual Harbor Days Tugboat Races, out in the deep channel of the bay.

After that, we're going to drive around the condo complex to see if very many of the units have garages.  I didn't notice too many, but I wasn't looking before.  Now that I have one, I want to know how rare they are...in this complex. ;D
