Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

T.O.D.

I am not a big Mamet fan, but I guess I would have to say GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS.

I am SOOO excited to see Elton John tonight.   I remember first hearing his music wafting from my brother's room...he was a fanatic when he was in high school.  I remember pizza at Jake's when I was in jr. high with his music blaring on the juke box...and his songs have been around ever since.   For me, he's one of the artists in the soundtrack of my life. His concert is a greatest hits concert.  No opening act, 3 hours, no intermission....should be fun!

Kind of like Mozart and Spike Jones are for elmore.

What, no nomination for Boyd Gaines?
Or was I supposed to respond this way, DR JohnG?
"Nor Audra McDonald."
;D
Don't they both have it written in their contracts that they will automatically get nominated?

I will admit the two times I've seen Gaines ("She Loves Me" and "Gypsy") that he was excellent in both.

Oh yes, I loved Boyd's ROSE'S TURN.
It's right up there with Michael Jeter's, which I watched last night in "The Fisher King."

Had a mostly great rehearsal - the show order works wonderfully and the cast is to die for - many showstopping moments.  Alet's You Can Be A New Yorker, Too is hilarious, as is Dan's I Lost The Rhythm, and Melody, Jenna, and Paige killed with the Annie numbers.  Our MD mucked up a few things but we cleared all of them up afterwards.  Looking at his pencil scriblings in his music, it's totally understandable - I asked him to clean all that stuff up so he can actually read it.

I was told earlier that we only had fifteen bodies coming tomorrow night.  That made no sense to me as I could account for thirteen of those bodies and I knew others had made reservations - as per usual no one has gotten confirmations and the mother of one of the little girls told me she's made a reservation for eight, so that would bring us up to twenty-three at least.  And there are probably a few more than that, and I told the cast to do what they could to fill the room.

Could it be false? Have I jumped the gun?

I'll remove my post, DR George, if you will remove yours. I can find no verification of this rumor I'm spreading. I still think she's gay.

Are you talking about me?

Of course not - he was talking about JMK; everyone knows he's a lesbian

OK...

I need to get ready to head out. The Big Gay Ice Cream hits the streets again today, and there's a social media panel being led by Gail Simmons at the James Beard Pop-Up in Chelsea Market.  In other words... Free Food! ;)

Laters...

Free food -- two of the most glorious words in the English language.

Or was that supposed to have been "musical comedy'?

And I'll be enjoying more free food tomorrow at the LuckyRice Night Market as a guest of The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck.

I'm thinking that DR MBarnum would like this event.

I am thinking that you are right!

Can you read those cryptic ads that are being placed everywhere now -- "Scan this squiggle with your smart phone  and you get special deals that those uncool people without smart phones will never know about"?
