Why can I only find one photo from the front?  I have never seen the back of his head-lol.  The man would have to be brilliant to be elected president with that hair!

Did you click through the slide-show? There a are a couple from the front.

The slide show was with a bunch of other people so I stopped sliding.

Here's the BACK of his head.

While hiking today Sherlock almost got a Sperel.  Fortunately it was saved.

I of course thought of DR Jose & Monkey, both who are much cuter. :)

I'm very disappointed that Daniel Radcliffe wasn't nominated for How to Succeed...      I thought he was great in the show.

Thanks.  It doesn't appear he is doing a pull over to the front.  I wonder what he is doing then.  I know this is silly to be so curious but how can someone with his money not have a better haircut or hairpiece‽

How exciting, Jane. Our breaking news is that Charlie Sheen will not be appearing at a local Cinco de Mayo party.

LOL.  That is also good news, BREAKING, I'm not sure about.  Since Linen's & Things went out of business this store is good news & the mall really needs it.  Still I can't imagine why it is still considered BREAKING NEWS.

OK...

I need to get ready to head out. The Big Gay Ice Cream hits the streets again today, and there's a social media panel being led by Gail Simmons at the James Beard Pop-Up in Chelsea Market.  In other words... Free Food! ;)

Laters...

Free food -- two of the most glorious words in the English language.

Or was that supposed to have been "musical comedy'?

And I'll be enjoying more free food tomorrow at the LuckyRice Night Market as a guest of The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck.

I'm thinking that DR MBarnum would like this event.

BK, did Melody play the Bing Crosby role or the Danny Kaye role on Broadway?

It is a shame that Daniel Radcliffe was ignored by the Tonys, especially while two actors from THE BOOK OF MORMON were nominated.

OH!

DR elmore - The other day you posted:

"...in 1998 I was the subject of an article in OPERA NEWS about the restoration of the 1938 BOYS FROM SYRACUSE. There were complications on the project: one of the music staff at R&H, who never backed up his computer, lost the entire vocal score he had created under my direction, so Rodgers & Hammerstein cannot make the show available except on special occasions. The band parts are the originals, cleaned up and in some cases recopied by me, but there is no vocal score."

So...

Boys is listed on RnH.com for rental. It also lists a vocal score - and I just checked HalLeonard.com and there's a vocal score available for purchase. Were you saying that there's not a Revised Vocal Score available right now?

I did notice the band rental package only lists 14 books/players. Was this the original or the Roundabout Revival?

I am so happy that my friends Larry Blank and Larry Hochman have been nominated for Tony Awards for best orchestrations. I hope one of them gets the award. They've both deserved it for some time.

Evidently being named Larry determines your career path.  :)

At least two of the three Larrys have careers going well!

But only one is so loved by so many!

Chef Michael Lomonaco was on "The View" yesterday, and hearing his story of that day again... He had stopped into the optometrist on the concourse level of the World Trade Center that morning to get his reading glasses adjusted when the first plane went into the tower... Meanwhile, his restaurant, Windows On the World, was filled with diners enjoying their breakfast and 79 staff members...

Windows on the World was one of my favorite spots in NYC.

What, no nomination for Boyd Gaines?
Or was I supposed to respond this way, DR JohnG?
"Nor Audra McDonald."
;D
Don't they both have it written in their contracts that they will automatically get nominated?

I will admit the two times I've seen Gaines ("She Loves Me" and "Gypsy") that he was excellent in both.

Oh yes, I loved Boyd's ROSE'S TURN.

Well, I'm leaving work.  I want to go home early today and watch some TV.  Among my DVR recordings, I have five, count 'em, FIVE episodes of Fringe!  I need to get started on this!

Be back later. :D
