Wonder if she actually "cooks"?

Oh yes... she can cook a pot roast! First she chops an onion...

[urlhttp://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,199832,00.html] Neighborhoods Need Redesigning to Help Obesity Problem [/url]

Quote
Friday , June 16, 2006

DENVER — It'll take more than public service campaigns to solve the nation's obesity problem, according to fitness experts who say neighborhoods must be designed so people can get around without their cars.

Proof that people will accept an active lifestyle and walk to parks and shopping if they can is found in the "new urbanism" style of planned communities, the experts contend.

Sounds like Manhattan to me!

And somehow...I don't see her knitting or crocheting, either.

Wonder if she actually "cooks"?

Oh I cook, baby, I cook!

Now as for mixing up ingredients and turning them into meals..... well.......

Soon I shall be making my way to Queens for lunch with Rodzinski.  I don't have to go into work until 6 so I am considering seeing XMen after lunch.  Or I may just visit the park with a good book.

Hmmm, maybe I will go to the park and look for XMen.

You might recommend he seek professional medical assistance...he seems terribly lithium deficient to be so obsessed with your every function.

I think you might consider posting him every time you have a bowel movement....excite him with the details.

He might leave you alone after a bit.

Yes, but so would we!

And to play the Devil's Advocate as it were... Victoria Clark has now been with The Light in the Piazza for at least three years.  If she wants to take a show or two off each week...

If I remember correctly, Patti Lupone only did six performances of VELVITA each week.  I think she skipped all of the matinees.  And that was back in 1980.

Had a much easier jog today.  And had a lovely breakfast with Alet.  We laughed and laughed and just when we thought we could laugh no more, we laughed again.  She had Ruby Jean with her, Ruby Jean being her adorable brand new baby.  Ruby was the talk of Du-Par's.

Off to rehearsal.

WELL....on Monday I am giving a short talk to a group of middle school aged students about THEATRE SUPERSTITIONS and GHOST STORIES.

I am talking about The Scottish Play, Whistling backstage, the Drury Lane Ghost, the Ghost light....

And any other thing that the DR's might suggest.  You can give me the info here, by email, or via a link.  All will be appreciated by me AND the kids, I am sure....

I shall return after rehearsal.....

Thanks, DRPENNYO - I am certainly considering the SEUSSICAL gig, if only because I like a lot of the people.

My cousin is The Cat in the Hat and her husband is Horton the elephant, so WHY shouldn't I be Yertl the turtle?

Oh yes, DtM - the Haynes sisters are felons in Florida...maybe their brother Benny can fix it when he gets back from Alaska.

I think they sort of pushed and plussed their way out of show business.

Got my errands done in a jiffy and back into the relative cool of the house.

Oh, but it's hot outside. When I opened the door to get the mail, the hot air just WHOOSHED in. Argh!

And when the time came to sit down to watch something, I totally neglected my Friday Media Check, and I watched some CSI episodes which I had cued up from the night before. I watched three back-to-back: one involving a tragic fire, one involving the murder of a male and female police officer in a hotel room, and one involving a psychotic man whose normal body temperature was 103 degrees.

As nice as I think you are, you can count me out of the sexually-obsessed-with-you camp.

No offense intended, of course.

Then, I watched THE BELLE OF NEW YORK which I had recorded off TCM yesterday. The laserdisc may be a tad more colorful, but the TCM broadcast was definitely in sharper focus, so I burned a DVD-R from that source.

Despite starring Fred Astaire, I'm not going to hold my breath for Warners to release this on DVD (or Fred's other MGM box-office misfire YOLANDA AND THE THIEF).

TOnight I plan to get to LUXERY LINER, the 1948 Jane Powell musical which came in the double feature laserdisc sleeve with NANCY GOES TO RIO. I have never seen LUXERY LINER, so it will definitely be something new to watch.

We used to use the same spritz bottle on Fletcher - until he decided that it was fun (a few times he even teased Woody and dashed away to get tracked down and spritzed). I wonder how a fire estinguisher would work :D

Do you want to try CO2 or some of that foam stuff?

...Fortunately, this is casual Friday...am wearing a Hawaiian shirt...not tucked in...so there is air circulation.
You are wearing something the shirt could be tucked into, right?  I mean, sometimes this casual Friday thing gets taken a little too far...

Yes, DR Laura, it is very nice weather and the cool mornings are not very typical of June. I'm just not a "heat" person.

I'm just teasing you, Matt. You can get me back next month when I complain about the humidity.
