My Betty Grable DVD set also came today, and I may watch THE DOLLY SISTERS tonight before THE CLOSER comes on, but if I can't see the whole thing before 9 p.m., I'll just save it for tomorrow.

My DVR got a copy of THAT NIGHT IN RIO, and I'll probably save it for later in the week. For me, unlike the MGM musicals, the Fox musicals wear out their welcome if watched in succession, so I'll watch THE DOLLY SISTERS and then wait a few days to watch either RIO or any of the other Grable films in that box.

BTW, DR MBarnum, I see that TCM is showing THE GIRL MOST LIKELY later in the week. Since it co-stars your beloved Keith Andes, I thought you might like to see it (or record it) if you don't have a copy already.

Loved the pet pics, also.

The doctor said that my infection was a symptom of suture rejection by my body (that would be a lot of rejection).  He prescribed antibiotics, but no pain pills (Dolls!).

Speaking of VALLEY OF THE ...., I enjoyed that movie when I first saw it one hundred years ago, when it first came out; but I honestly can't imagine watching it again.

I have read The Valley of the Dolls, and the other 2 books by Miss Suzanne, but I never seen the movie.  I did however see Beyond the Valley of the Dolls once at Rodzinski's urging- what the heck was that??

I was hoping to get a shipping notice today from Amazon about my SUPERMAN Season 3-4 set being shipped today, but so far, nothing!  :(

Oh that's too bad.

They did notify me of the shipping of season 3 of "Lois and Clark" and season 4 of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show."

What did they use?

Did they remove the offending sutures?

Well, I thought all the sutures had previously been removed, so maybe this is post-traumatic.  I don't think I want to know what they used.  I am still trying to adjust to the cadaver bones they used in my back surgery.

I don't know except I know it sure didn't have ANYTHING at all to do with Susann's book.

So, exactly where were you last night, Rodzinski?

Uh... I don't have to answer these questions until my lawyer is present.

BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS has nothing to do with anything else anywhere. But it sure is entertaining in its own way.

Well it's been a busy but good day here at the office.  I'm sort of laughing. This morning I was wanting to not be supervisor anymore.  Bob doesn't want it because it doesn't mean any more money, but as the day has worn on I've just done all the supervisor things out of habit and really can't imagine not doing them, so I have a feeling that nothing will change in that regard, but that's ok.

I am very happy to be back and have a feeling we'll be back to normal much sooner than I expected.  That break was just what I needed to appreciate what I have.

Did you enjoy the time you had off?

I ask, because there were a few days there when you didn't seem to be having too good a time.

Been working on ballad one for PennyO's show - I don't know why this one is so damnably hard but it is.  I feel thrilled when I get a line or two - the music is done, but the lyric has one strange rhyme thing, and it takes forever to get that section so it's not belabored or bad.

The doctor said that my infection was a symptom of suture rejection by my body (that would be a lot of rejection).  He prescribed antibiotics, but no pain pills (Dolls!).
This isn't all that uncommon, particularly with subdural sutures.  I didn't get an infection after that affair with my lip, but Angie did after her little operation.  She got a little pussy and oozy, and Doc Chris, our vet, put her on antibiotics, too.

Can you wash the area yourself, the way she can?   :o   :-*
