And if time permits then I will watch MUJHSE SHADI KAROGI (2005) starring Bollywood hunks Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. This was one of THE top comedies out of India last year, and it was the #8 film in the U.K.!

That looks good... Have fun watching...

I think I'm going to do something I haven't done in years--read the latest Stephen King book.  From what a few people have told me, CELL is a return to form for King and it's a relatively short read, at that.  And since I have a 20% off coupon for Barnes & Nobel burning in my pocket...

I haven't read a Stephen King novel in quite a few years, either.  I also just got this book, but from the library where I work.  We got 80 copies and there weren't that many holds, so I got it without having to wait...or pay. ;)

That first picture in the Deceit gallery... Trying to decide if he looks more Old-school Jack or Haver-esque...

Still debating....

Pardon my saying but that should be "brillantine" since the word is French! 8) ;)

Hmmm...did Sondheim mean the oily hair styling product or the cheap suit fabric?

Here's a side topic for everyone:  what are your favorite live recordings?

I'm listening to Bette Midler's LIVE AT LAST and it's a joy ride!  Another favorite was last year's Green Day release BULLET IN A BIBLE, which was one of the most exciting recordings I've ever heard.

I have and love this, also!  I bought her "Divas Las Vegas" DVD from England have wanted to make a CD from that, but I just haven't yet.  I made CDs from the DVDs of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 50th Birthday Celebration (it was never released on CD) and Betty Buckley's live concert at the Donmar (there are more songs than the officially released CD).

Sondheim:  A Musical Tribute (the Scrabble cover)
Sondheim:  A Celebration (recording produced by our very own BK)
Sondheim:  A Celebration at Carnegie Hall
The Manhattan Transfer Live (1978)
The Manhattan Transfer Live (1987)
The Manhattan Transfer Man Tora! Live in Japan

That's what I can think of, so far. :)

I guess when you are Isaura Garcia, you don't have to care how you look on an album cover...

I believe that it is.

I got this before Christmas and I have yet to crack it open.  I'm not even sure where I put it--I haven't seen it around my house since Christmas.  I hope I didn't absent mindedly give it away as a gift.

Sad to say, DR DtM - she probably does care....and this is IT!  ::)

The clouds cleared away and we ended up with a perfectly gorgeous day. High almost 70 and simply breathtaking weather particularly for February. (Snow is predicted for Monday!)

Did Hal David write lyrics for "Baby Elephant Walk"?
I've wondered why he shares the credits.
(I don't have the Soundtrack album).
