Our serial killer was sentenced to 348 years.

That should keep him off the streets for awhile

DerBrucer-:D  Great idea!  If only I was into making calendars.  I passed along your suggestion to Keith.

I’m enjoying the photos and reading about the seasonal activities.  I have mixed feeling about not joining in on them.  I can’t get to the decorations, let alone set them up.  Because of my wrist I haven’t been on a baking frenzy, while not much fun may be a good thing since I’m on a diet.

I have always enjoyed shopping at my leisure, purchasing because I found the perfect gift for someone & then saving it for the holidays.  Since we moved here we rarely see something I think is a must get item for a friend.  I’m not big on gift cards, I prefer personal items.  It has sort of made me a dud in the gift giving category.

So, here I sit with no gifts to give.  On the plus side I don’t have to go to the post office.

Now if I knew someone really wanted fudge, or cookies, I just might be able to work myself into a baking frenzy next week. :)

Jane, I've heard stories about how fabulous your fudge is, and I'd really love a chance to taste eat some of it  ;D

And Kiri te Kanawa is their loss and Australia's gain!
As far as I know Dame Kiri still resides in NZ.

I am just hoping to get Christmas cards done.  Thanks to those who have sent them to me.   This week, other than the night I went to the Temptations I've been back at the office until 10:00 PM or 11:00 PM every night.  Tonight I'm going out for some wine with a friend who is closing her law office and moving to Louisiana to get married.  But I'll be back down here all weekend.  The taking work home wasn't working. I get a lot more done at the office

While I was in the office Keith was choosing new wallpaper for his new computer.  He has VISTA now and the wallpaper has amazing graphics that move.  My favorites are the field of grass blowing in the wind, shooting meteorites and rippling water.  One combines the last two.  It has rippling water in the lake with a meteorite shooting through the sky and crashing behind the mountains.

If everyone comes through as promised, I have several new private clients who I will be helping in the next couple weeks.  They have appointments to show up with retainers so we'll see if they do.

Wow, I have Vista, I didn't know there were graphics that move.  My screensaver is great big colored bubbles that float around on the screen. I've caught more than one person sitting in my office watching the bubbles behind me.

Well, time to run a couple quick errands and then have a glass of wine at Bev's on the River

I'm starting a list :)

Keith said the moving Vista would not work on my computer.  It only works with Vista Ultimate.  He is downloading some more.  I see a waterfall 8)

Hi Singingnymph.  It is nice to see you, and just in time as I do need to go for a walk before the sun drops out of sight.

I've been thinking of walking down to the park at the end of my block & scaring the kids off the swings. So that I can swing. Not just for the sake of scaring them, I mean.

No no! I inadvertently took a hiatus from all the forums I'm on. I got rather self-centered & started focusing on my blog & social networking stuff.
