Survivor:  Having watched last night's show, after what Jennifer was telling us last week about what would happen, I am now "off" watching it.  If the results cannot be kept private and people can tell you what's "going to happen," then the show is compromised and I'm no longer interested.

DR Jennifer, no I haven't. Why do you think I'm posting so much today?

Just finished listening to the BRS (that's Broadway Radio Show in HHW lingo). Very interesting stuff. Those shows are generally not my "cup of tea" so to speak, but Donald, as always made it an interesting and enjoyable show. Thanks.

Ben:  Concentrated effort will get you there in no time.  Just eat/sleep/breathe HHW for a few days.

I broke 500 last week with effort.  This week, 600 "snuck up on me."

The higher the numbers go, the faster they seem to go.

What was the song Dorothy Provine sang on Roaring Twenties?

You can bring Sal,
 She's a darn nice gal....
But don't bring Lulu.

(Don't worry, Lulu, she comes by herself)

And whatever happened to the wonderful Dorothy Provine?

JR:  Don't know about today's mail.  I leave for work at 6:30a.m. and the mail gets there around noon or one, so I won't know about today's mail till I get home at about 4:00 p.m.

BBC Radio 3 Stage and Screen, btw, has an interesting show about the music of Charlie Chaplin.

Here's the link. I've done this enough that I think, if you're interested, you know the drill. If you don't and have a question, feel free to ask.

Do you suppose Bettie and Annette ever shared wardrobes?
I always hoped that Spin and Marty shared a closet. Is that much the same thing?
BEN: No vacation until October next year!
WEL. First name of the singer is "Peter".

As you can see, I'm still avoiding work. I'm writing things down and doing some typing and then writing some more, etc. I will probably do the largest portion of this report on Monday (after I do some desk clean up - far too many printouts have taken refuge here and need to find other places to reside).

Careful, BK!  Michael Jackson keeps claiming to be innocent, and nobody believes him either.

Michael -- Thank you.  That would be wonderful.  I would love to write her a note and tell her how much I enjoyed her work in film and television.  She always seemed so real and unaffected.

[move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%]SURVIVOR TALK[/move]
Survivor:  Having watched last night's show, after what Jennifer was telling us last week about what would happen, I am now "off" watching it.  If the results cannot be kept private and people can tell you what's "going to happen," then the show is compromised and I'm no longer interested.

Lill IS a sad, pathetic little gnome.

I really have no idea where John from CANOE gets his info. But I know how reliable he was for BB, so I tend to believe some of what he says for Survivor.

While he obviously has some good info, he clearly does not know exactly what will happen. He definitely has not seen the tapes, because he always prefaces his guesses with, "if so and so doesn't win immunity". Immunity really can change the game completely.

Plus I think what happened last night was obvious and inevitable. The Big Ox had become too strong and it was clear from last week's show what was being planned.

Btw, does anyone else dislike when they have challenges where you can choose who doesn't win. To me the point of immunity should be that everyone has a fair chance to win it. Last night's blowtorch thingie and last week's challenge, let players take out other players.

And btw2, does anyone else think Sandra is an idiot. She voted for John. Why? If Rupert had been correct and Burton and John had teamed with D and T. Then it would have been 4 to 4. Except that stupid Sandra's vote would have made it 4 to 3. Gosh I almost wish it had happened that way.

Right now I love Burton. Although I wonder if the 2 evicted players have a real chance with the jury.

TFO, October! Almost a year. You've mentioned in passing earlier a stateside trip. Is that a possibility in October? If you come to NY, there are plenty of us who could gather together, and we might even entice DR Jose to come up from DC to join us.

Ooh this is post #400. Only 100 more to go. Why does it feel like it will take forever to get there?  Well I suppose with DR Ben on my tail, I'll probably have to post a lot, or he'll overtake me :)

Or perhaps we will stroll in together. It does seem to go fast on a good posting today. Why is today different from all others (no, wait, that's Yom Kippur, sorry)?

It's so much easier to post at work also. I find myself just breaking and reading and relaxing. It increases my productivity. Yeah, right!

Maybe BEN. Keep "Wicked" on stage and it will help our decision making.  Only definite at the moment is about 5 weeks in France. Somewhere central would be really convenient - Tacoma maybe.

No, now I'm just posting to keep ahead of  TCB  ;)

Sorry, TCB don't mean to turn this into a competition between the East and West Coast. I would say left and right, but I'm on the Right Coast and I don't want anyone to infer anything other than direction from that designation.

You (TCB) have the entire evening ahead of you, with Jed and TFO and Ann and Ron pushing us to higher and higher heights.

Oh, five weeks in France. I am as green as Elphaba right now. Even with two weeks in London, five weeks in France would be wonderful. I guess I'm an AngloFrancophile. And that's the only kind of phile I wanna be!

Btw, for anyone who is interested Bachelor Bob and Estella will be on Oprah today and The View Monday.
Btw, on Monday The View will announce their newest co-host. And for all Survivor fans, there is a good chance it will be former Survivor contest Elizabeth!

Actually, Michael Jackson IS innocent until proven guilty.  I, on the other hand, am guilty until proven innocent.  I was FORCED, do you hear me?

I must get ready. I'm writing my report and I'm about to go to an enclave and discuss my year end performance evaluation. I know they are the rage among employers, but for the most part, I fail to see the great advantage. Oops. Hope my employer can't read this here Web site.  ;)
