Wow congrats on your change in status.

Um, if you really want to be a goddess and not a god, you know who you need to work on :)

DR Jason: Many of the packages we send here have tracking numbers. I know if amazon sends a package it usually comes with a tracking number so you can see where it is.  Does your order have that? (you can see in your account).

Are we looking for a Thanksgiving song?  None better than I'VE GOT PLENTY TO BE THANKFUL FOR by Mr. Irving Berlin sung by Mr. Bing Crosby in HOLIDAY INN.

Does over the Over the River and through the woods to Grandmother's house we go...count?  That's seems to be the one we sang in school for Thanksgiving all the time.

I came home from school today only to find that my parents had bought a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts and am now repeating over and over again:

"I WILL NOT EAT A KK DONUT!  JARED NEVER EATS KK!  JARED ONLY EATS SUBWAY!"

I love Krispy Kreme. DR Emily eat one!

But I am going back on Atkins later this week. So I'm sure I'll be crabby then too! But today I would definitely eat one. Heck, I'd eat two.

DR Emily: Re: American Idol holiday concert

What contract disputes could have prevented Ryan Seacrest from hosting? Isn't that his job?

While looking for anything goddess I found this website called Goddess Chronicles:

http://www.goddesschronicles.org

They have different names for the goddesses (like Venus and Oracle).

I'm thinking we need names.

Hmmm I'm Aphrodite the patron goddess of love, beauty and prostitutes :)
(that's what it says).

I guess we don't have to choose our names. The quiz will do it for us!

Good God! What next? There are religions where the name of God is unspoken. Doesn't Jennifer mean "Grace Of GOD"?

Such requests might well be better served through the intervention of DR Maya - I believe she has a direct line to the Creator!

Here is why we love eBay.  For twenty years, ever since I found out it existed, this album has eluded me - couldn't find it in mono, couldn't find it in stereo - someone made me a cassette once but off a really scratchy copy.  Well, someone in England had it up on eBay and I got it.  Hoo and ray.  And what is it?  Drum roll...

And a couple of more art pieces - here's a wonderful gal painting by Howard Connelly - this is also featured in the Great American Pinup book.  I love owning paintings that are in books.

DR Jennifer: Unfortunately, I bought these CDs used through Amazon, so they didn't come with tracking numbers. :-\

I just saw on the news that a baby in the Bronx was attacked by a "cat-sized" rat in her crib. Disturbing. Truly, deeply disturbing.

And by the way, I saw Clay Aiken singing on TRL today at the MTV building. He looked in my direction and everything. Perhaps he saw me grumbling about the huge crowd I was weaving through.

Rather than resize for the vision challenged - it is the "Lullabye From Rosemary's Baby" by Mia Farrow,

Clay hosted the American Idol special because in the last two months he has emerged as the biggest star from the two years of the show. Ryan Seacrest is not a performer and there would be no need to pay him a salary to just introduce acts when Clay (and a couple of others) could do it so conveniently.

I didn't like most of the music or singing, but I did think Ruben and Tamyra did well with "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," and I liked Clay's "The First Noel." Not much else appealed to me.

Congratulations, DR Michael Shayne, on marvelous parodies of two famous films. I especially loved Hitchcock's classic thriller.

So now Mr. Bakalor (aka Br. Bakalor) is also the divine Creator?  This is going to make my Religious Studies exams much easier. :)
