I own the book and I'm doing your show.  That's enough for now!  I'm already living with you 8 hours a day.

That's a walk in the park, baby - I live with me twenty-four hours a day!

and yes to Everything Stops.

I am beyond impressed. That song comes from "Come Into The Kitchen" but I've never been able to find out much about that show. Anyone?

DR Jane shares some of her loot from the candy store with Tom and Colin.

I am not allowed to return home from visiting California without bringing See's candy to my mother.

LOL - when my mother lived in Phoenix, she claimed that her car knew the way to See's all by itself!

I just found out the actress Joyce Meadows, star of the 1950s film BRAIN FROM PLANET AROUS, has her own website! And she is still performing!

Who knew!

Maybe I can catch her show when I am in LA! That would be fun!

Re: last night's LOST.

I also really enjoyed it.  At least next week it looks like we will get to see some of the other characters again.

The "Others" are so fascinating and mysterious. I really like Ben and juliette.

Re: the girl who spoke to kate in the woods. Is she the french woman's daughter?  And does she live with the Others or is she just running loose in the woods?

Regarding yesterday's BK question about best and worst looking celebs at the Ray Court's show...I agree...Diane McBain is still stunning!!!

Also, Paul Mantee, even at 70 years old, was a hunk! And I never saw a guy with bigger hands!

Rex Reason was also looked very good.

Tommy Sands was the most frightening...he did not even look human.

But good or bad I love seeing any all of those people!

Oh and re: the new show NINE.

spoilers.

I actually saw it a couple of days ago (it runs here on Tuesdays).

I think it could do okay being after LOST. I would imagine it would keep a lot of that show's viewers.

I do like it.  AGain, it's not my favorite new show. But it is entertaining. I like the characters. They are interesting. And it's sort of good that they don't tell us everything at once.

I like scott wolf and am quite curious what he did in there to make his girlfriend turn on him. I really liked that girl that died. I wish that we could have seen her more.

What is it?

No one can name that show?  Skammen.

Just had a lovely conversation with elmore about Brain matters.  He thinks Tom and Colin are heading this way, but if they are I've heard nothing about it.  Are they?  Will I be in NY when they're here?  Can someone find out?

What show is it from?

I used to listen to Mandy, until I discovered Guy Haines...

Mr Haines and Mr Patinkin are nowhere near the same ballpark!  Mr Haines has a way with a melody, a lyric and a turn of phrase that the overindulgent Mr P will never understand.  Mr Haines elegantly presents a song while Mr P tortures it to death in the name of ego.

So it was confirmed by several friends who went for free last night - Barbra Streisand's concert last night at Madison Square Garden was indeed on several papering services.  Perhaps it's a result of the super-high ticket price ($750 for not-particularly great floor-level seats), with the really crappy seats going for $100.

Coffee in a Cardboard Cup is from the wonderful and underappreciated show by Kander and Ebb called

70 Girls 70

It's based on Peter Coke's play Breath of Spring and the movie of the play, Make Mine Mink.

It was not a success when it played on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre. It opend on 15 April, 1971 and played a meager 36 performances. But it lives on in near cult-status. It was done recently by Encores here in New York.

Wish I had TiVO!

Didn't you say you had Comcast Digital? We do, and they offer a DVR for an additional less than $10/month (actually you get a replacement cable box with the DVR included within - and one common remote. The DVR lets you record one show while you watch another, and schedule shows for recording when you're away.

That Laura! She can sure cause trouble under her "I'm really a loving caring person" attitude.  I like Jeffrey, I respect his take-no-prisoners attitude, and his frankness on where he's been.

Ok, we've got the Food Network on in the background too much.  I just saw a report that actually said ON-SET SCUFFLE, about a fight at GREY'S ANATOMY, and I could have sworn it said ON-SET SOUFFLE.

I agree that Mandy is overindulgent. (His voice drives dear Greg up the wall!) But I like his choice of songs and until I found this site, I didn't know of too many alternatives for new releases like this. I do like Mandy's keyboard player on "Handful of Keys", whoever he is.
