Say what?  What exactly is going on here?  Your costume only has a top part?  What kind of audience are you guys aiming for???

And are you going to supply us with pictures???????

 ;D

I only said that I got to try on the top part...there is more to the costume.  I actually have pants that will work with the top part, so I don't need to try those on because I know that they already fit. :D And just to make it clear:  there is absolutely no realism or historical accuracy in regards to the Indians' costumes. ;)

As for pictures, we'll see. :)

I was privileged to have a childless aunt and uncle who took my brother and me as their own and who took us to NYC once or twice a year for much of my growing up years. We almost always did musicals, however, as my uncle had a hard time following the plots of plays in the theater. He probably couldn't follow musicals well either, but at least there was singing and dancing as compensations.

Anyway, my first professional production was MY FAIR LADY at the Mark Hellinger Theater. Julie Andrews and Rex Harrison had left after two years and were either playing it in London or in rehearsals there, and I saw their immediate replacements: Sally Ann Howes and Edward Mulhare. I was very young (7) but I remember Doolittle's two numbers absolutely stopping the show cold and the audience standing and cheering them.

My dad said that he was in New York and saw My Fair Lady with the first replacements...he must have been there around the same time as you!  It's entirely possible that you and my dad were at the same theater on exactly the same day!  What a coinkydink!! ;)

Of course, it's not very likely at all...but it is possible. ;D

Wow, I would imagine among ALL of us here at HHW - we have seen EVERY show that played on the Great White Way & on tour.

DR GINNY - I have (had?) a program from that Tucker-Weldon tour, and as DR MBARNUM said, I was also MOST fascinated that Ms Weldon had tackled giant ants in THEM!  She was a pretty nifty singer and looker, too, if I remember correctly, and their dancing was good, too.

FYI, some of the cast of HEROES is on the VIEW today.  I'm sure clips will be on youtube, and probably some people can get the show at different times thoughout the day.

On tv are: Hiro and Peter (Milo from Gilmore Girls).

Also for SURVIVOR fans, one of the people voted off last thursday is on the VIEW today as well (works there).

On the cast recording list, they gave the DEEP DISCOUNT code as PRICESEARCH (good until 11/23). Not sure if that was the same code listed here.

And away I go to work!

(PS to TMC - George Ball and Amanda McBroom are on the BK produced OCR CD of Heartbeats.  Great voice, his, I think.)

I saw Mr Ball in JACQUES BREL IS ALIVE AND WELL . . . twice, if not more, but I believe he was in a 1970 poduction at the Playhouse in the Park in Cincinnati and in the1972(?) production I saw in Philadelphia with Elly Stone.

Joan's on a couple of operettas, THE GREAT WALTZ from Los Angeles (DRG) and KEAN (SNY or DRG).  She had a glorious soprano voice.

Yep, I'm back from errands, and I'm procrastinating before I had back to The Brain!

DR JRand - I still have the souvenir program book!  Maybe DH Richard can get Them for me from Netflix - won't he be surprised when I ask for a sci-fi movie?

Well, DR Ginny, Ms. Weldon lives on East 78th St in NY, NY. Next time you are there you should pop by and say howdy. If you aren't arrested and taken away perhaps she will autograph your program!

Don't forget to include the fact that you are a close personal friend of Jack Randall Earles & Jose Simbulan (both born on August 26) - it will certainly impress SOME members of the audience.  ::)

Well, if I mention you two, I'll have to mention Barnum and Shayne, the Michaels, and soon the list would get totally out of hand!
