Who played your part in the movie, DR derBRUCER?

I have played more Jack Lemmon parts or rather parts played by Jack Lemmon in the movies!  ;D

I don't think it was ever made into a film.

My light comedy turn was playing the Glenn Ford role in Teahouse of the August Moon for a long summer of Regional Theatre in Carmel, CA.

No discount on Pre Order so I will place my request for Mr Val Moses tomorrow.

That's certainly my plan along with a few other titles I haven't as yet ordered.

Lunch was late starting and ran long besides, so I had to do some scurrying to fit in all my viewing for the afternoon.

And it was colder than I expected it to be. I mean, I only had to go from the house to a car to the restuarant and then back out again, and even with just that little bit in the air, it was very uncomfortable.

I started with DEXTER. Tony Goldwyn directed the episode and also guest starred as a psychiatrist Dexter was seeing.

We also found out the identity of the Ice Truck Killer, an identity I'm proud to say I named after watching last week's show.

OH GOOD GRIEF!

High School Gives 'Urinetown' the Big Flush
Quote
Sunday , November 19, 2006

Urinetown? No way. Urine Stevens Point.

"Urinetown" a comedy about a town plagued by such a serious drought that residents must pay to use public restrooms, was a surprise hit on the Great White Way. But while it suited Broadway to a pee, it just won't play in Peoria. Or the Wisconsin town of Stevens Point.

That was the ruling of the school administrators who brought the curtain down on a production of the show by students at Stevens Point Area High School, the Associated Press reports.

The show's bathroom humor and adult themes figured in the decision to cancel it, according to Principal Mike Devine.

"This is a K-12 public education system," said School Superintendent Bette Lang, contending the show's satirical and ironic humor was not appropriate for younger audiences.
...

But somehow their previous productions of the satanic musical Damn Yankees and the spousal abuse themed "Carousel" got the OK.

COLD CASE had a rather pathetic story of a charmer hooking up with a wallflower to commit crtimes. The charmer was played by the handsome Bruno Campos (who had the recurring role on nip/tuck last season). A very unsettling episode.

WITHOUT A TRACE had an interesting case of a missing child protective services worker. As the story went along, it became more and more not about the missing worker (who it became clear had not been kidnapped or killed) and more about other things we was involved in. Nice change of pace for the show.

It seems they re-named the characters in the film. I played Ginger's nerdy boyfriend.

I got the best laugh of the run when I did an incomplete costume change and ending up on stage in a black tux with one black dress sock and one argyle wool sock. I hiked up my trousers when I sat on a sofa and an endless stream of giggles started roaming through the house while Ginger's dad was giving me a very thorough grilling.

Mainly because your view is the minority one...Luke and Laura are the most phenomenally successful "couple" on daytime soaps.  "They" continue to plug them because the audience loves seeing them.

Yep, I meant to mention Reed Diamond who is always effective in anything I've seen him do. Really enjoy him as an actor.

DR Ron,

It was mentioned on BROTHERS & SISTERS last night that the Army wanted Justin back and would handle his rehabilitation itself. That was their way of circumventing your criticisms. If I understand you correctly, the writers are totally off base about that, that this would never happen.

Is the policy you have stated for all the U.S. military or is it possible, especially in this age of a lack of the draft, that the Army especially might be a bit more lenient about it needing every body they can get their hands on?

I'm not challenging your knowledge; after all, you were in the service; I wasn't. I'm just wondering if perhaps things have changed a bit since Iraq.

This morning I went for a walk and I saw two bald eagles, a shrike, and a kingfisher, none of which I was able to photograph.

No doubt this is true.....but I and others I know would still be watching GH without interruption after many decades....if only....
