I've had the week off, so I've been sleeping as much as possible.
And my aunt has been in town the past couple days, so when I wasn't sleeping I was either visiting with her or helping my mother get ready for Thanksgiving.

There should be no problem with paypal, at least on our end. I believe there's one shipping rate that covers up to five CDs - maybe six bucks or something. You can pick them up whilst in LA if that's easier.

Adding Small House would have taken us over the time limit where pressing plants guarantee pressings, which was common back then - today we'd probably chance it, but it also had to do with trying to get the entire album done in one day. And we were recording a particular production, so yes, that's why those numbers weren't included.

We've done it both ways - has nothing to do with contracts - it's just what we did for that cast album.

Tonight's rehearsal of Cannibal: The Musical went quite well.

We were told that a reviewer from a local paper was going to be there to watch, but it turns out that she got very, very sick and couldn't be there! Yea! We were told that she got permission from her boss to see our show on our final (and open) dress rehearsal on ~~October~~ November 30th and that she could turn in the review first thing in the morning of December 1st. Whew.

Anyway, we wore as many costume pieces as we could...my Indian costume still needs tweaking, but it'll be fabulous!

And my quick change might not be as quick as I thought it was going to be, but then we weren't doing any makeup.

That'll make it more difficult, but we'll see. Otherwise, we got through it and I remembered all of my lines!

FORTUNATELY, my niece tapes this so I can watch her tape...but I couldn't watch it when I got home from rehearsal, when I really wanted to.

Maybe the idea of one day (or time period) repeating over and over is too general a concept to have to attribute it to "Groundhog Day." And I'm pretty sure that "Groundhog Day" was either a book, novella or a short story first, so who knows how far back the idea really goes. $:-\$

I also remember reading several years ago that Stephen Sondheim bought the stage musical rights to the property. I wonder if he'll ever get to it?? I'd love to see/hear what he'd do.
