Theatre includes: Last seen on the New York stage in the Tony Award-winning revival of La Cage aux Folles, Gavin received a Tony nomination for his Broadway debut as Jimmy Smith in Thoroughly Modern Millie. He has appeared in the world premiere of Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's Bounce (directed by Harold Prince), Bat Boy (Off-Broadway), Hair (City Center Encores!), Honk! (American premiere) and The Mystery Plays (Second Stage/Yale Rep.) He can also be seen alongside Julie Andrews as Bill in the television movies Eloise at the Plaza and Eloise at Christmastime.
Gavin's debut pop album, Goodtimenation, is available for limited release on
www.gavincreel.com and is also for sale in the foyer of the theatre. Gavin and co-writer/producer Robbie Roth are currently collaborating on his second album, as well as their first original theatrical piece, aiming for a workshop in the autumn of 2007.
Gavin is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Music
