I saw Joe when it first came out - I thought it was an incredibly ugly film, both in look and style and subject matter.  I have not revisited it since.

She was in the Japanese version - Being in love means you never have to eat Sushi.

Sushi - isn't that a Mrs Meers line from "Millie"?

A great wartime movie is Blintz You Went Away.

Didn't Lionel Bart write a musical called "Blintz!"?

Will we never get to page seventeen?  The notes are done - early for once.  I won't post them until midnight, however.  They are quite long.

Right now, I'm recording a vinyl record to CD.  It's called "Down in Jungle Town" with The Yum Yum Kids and the MGM Territorial Orchestra.  Has anyone heard of this?  I hadn't.

It was "Tamed and Arranged by Richard Wolfe," and the "Chief Talent Consultant" was Murray Scheck.  Just had to share. :)

The sky in the west is quite breathtaking.

The Pacific coast has spectacular sunsets as the sun plays on the waves as it sets....

I have seen some really brilliant sunsets on the prairies also...

I just can't imagine that anything like this would be released today.  Most of the songs have fairly sophisticated lyrics.  Some of the songs are "Hooray for Capt. Spaulding," "Napoleon Sailed the Ocean Blue," the title song, "Aba Daba Honeymoon" and Noel Coward's "Mad Dogs and Englishmen."

For the last two nights, it was freezing when I left work and I had to scrape the ice off of my car!  I thought that we (in Washington State) were done with the cold weather!

This morning, I forgot to bring my heavier coat, so it was especially cold tonight.  I won't forget it in the morning.
