"Children Of The Sun" (1979) was Billy Thorpe's most successful USA release.

Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" certainly had an impact when I was in London  the Christmas it was released. I had really only known "Killer Queen" before that.

I just think they were so impression musically -- and could that Freddie Mercury sing --- "Wowie!"

I think the Paul Simon/Randy Newman duet (The Blues)was on the same album as I Love L.A.

Bob Marley and the Wailers (I love reggae especially in the summer time -- I don't know why, I just associate it with summer -- maybe because of the tropical vibe) No Woman No Cry, One Love/ People get Ready, Stir It Up,  Buffalo Soldiers, Jamming

Mercury was one of the truly charismatic rock stars. Amazing stage presence.

Paul Simon's Graceland -- and of course Simon and Garfunkel -- how could I forget -- they were big when I was in high school...

I loved that Reggae influence in pop - Paul Simon, Eric Clapton, Steve Wonder, Elton John, Paul McCartney etc were all willing to take it on board.

Graceland's other songs seem to have always overshadowed the beautiful "Under African Skies".

But of course I'm rarely disappointed in any of Linda Ronstadt's work.

Miss Karen, the key question is - have you registered at amazon.  If you haven't, you will never be able to leave a review.  If you go to the amazon.com home page, you'll see it says "Welcome customer" towards the top - and then next to that it should have a place where it says something about registering.

Good question -- I'm not really sure what I've been doing, or not doing ??? -- so I'll keep trying and like I said if all else fails I'll ask Boo-Key.

and an aside: the class saying was "Always forward, never straight" (the guys that came up with it still laugh at the reunions about Stairway to Heaven getting nixed but their saying getting through..)

Whenever I read "Boo-Key" I think of the Pookie the little white rabbit with wings.

One of my childhood favourites was "Pookie Puts the World Right" where Winter leaves the world! A rabbit pushing Camelot ideals too far.
