DRs SWW and DerBrucer - Just how was the crab meat you bought packed? Was it jarred? or sold loose and in a bag/plastic container? Fresher is always better when it comes to crab meat, imho.
And simpler is always better too. Just take an avocado, half it, take the pit out, and fill it with the crab meat. Maybe a squeeze of lemon juice, a dab of mayo if you like, and some capers. Dinner is served.
Or there are always crabcakes.
