Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Cilla:

The poltical manipulators at about screwing Iowa:

NH is moving their primary to January, which might shove Iowa's back to New Years Day!

At this rate, we might awaken to a headline that says:

Presidential election was held yesterday!

I'm curious what those who watch BIG BROTHER think of the banner plane!

Btw (live feed comment), looks like amber's comments have caused quite a stir. Will CBS air them?

What did she say?

Thank-goodness - I can stop fretting!

To expand on Jane's comments on the proposal:

Writing a love scene for Brenda and Fritz is a real challenge - played straight up it would be out of character; having the scene interupted by a wise crack would be disconcerting - the "Can I keep my own name" line was a brilliant bit that provide the necessary whimsy without destroying the overall mood. Well done to the writer(s)!

I noticed that the producers, James Duff and Mike Berchem gets full wrting credit for this episode.

DER B - PLEASE USE SPOILERS>   Last night was the first chance I had to watch this episode, but I considered waiting until tonight.

Thanks......    birthday kisses   :-* :-*

From Bruce:
Quote
It turns out our guy did call and wanted to talk about what he is saying is large miscommunication issues immediately - only he called my home phone, and tonight, just a moment ago, is the first time I have checked that voice mail.  I know he has my cell, so it's weird.

It is surprising how often that has happened to me.  People call the house when I’m traveling & the cell, which doesn’t work in the house, when I’m here.  I tend to leave important messages on both phones.

Der B---I just loaded the new episode of THE CLOSER and Kyra is again wearing her floppy white hat to the crime scene, so she didn't leave it on the boat as you had feared!

Great news!!!

USA has renewed BURN NOTICE for a second season of 13 episodes to be shown next summer. This should make DR Elmore as happy as it made me.

Hey, I'm just as excited :D

A lady just showed up at my work with two beautifully framed SACCO AND VANZETTI posters---one was the theatrical poster (HUGE!) and the other was for the screenings in Italy in July. They should look nice in the new editing room, if the wall can hold them!

How very, very nice of her.  Will there be photos?

I'm keeping up with the posts & NY news, but that might be impossible the next couple of days.  Craig & Bryan are coming Saturday & we are busy sorting through closets, drawers, etc. What has been left here, which is most of Craig's belongings, must be sorted through & decisions made what is to be kept, tossed or taken home with him.

Bruce, SAFE & EASY TRAVELS tomorrow.  Vibes your actress accepts!

Thanks, DR Vixmom!  The wallpaper border goes all around the ceiling in the kitchen and we had just enough left for that area above the stove.

Jane, does that mean you've had a built-in oven instead?  I've never had one.

If you know THE FANTASTICKS....and most do...and my guess is EVERYONE here does....you know that Mortimer has a speech about "diving off a 20 foot cliff...."

I have been doing that part on the steps leading to the platform and turning for the word "backwards"....tonight I get there and El Gallo is standing in my spot ... on the steps ... in my way ...

It killed my bit....GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I went to midtown and joined BK, DRS Jose, FJL, Julie, and Noel for a wonderful dinner.  The good spirits, tasty food, and outrageous wit and gossip restored my sense of humor and energy.

I also heard from friends in Brooklyn that they were okay and that was good news as well.
