LEGALLY BLONDE

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were very blonde, and now it is time for you to post until the legally blonde cows come home.  They're udderly busy right now.

I forgot to mention the best thing whilst having Ye Olde Haircut - a guy came in selling various chocolate things.  I gather that he comes in every Saturday.  So, Teddy got a little case of something and I asked him what it was.  He opened the box and said, "Just take one and put it in your mouth whole and then eat it with eyes closed.  I did so - and it was a gloriously glorious taste treat.  What it was was a chocolate-covered grape with a raspberry on top, and a half a cashew nut stuck in some fantastic chocolate coating.  The burst of flavors was like a beautiful sunrise, and I immediately bought a box.  I may have to now go there every Saturday to get a little something from this guy.

Thanks for the correction, DR MBarnum.  I don't know from Bollywood, obviously.  Or even Tollywood.

Sunday morning greetings!  What I like about the time change is that it will now, for a while at least, be light when I go to the bottom of our driveway for the newspapers between 7 and 7:30am.  What I don't like is that it'll be dark when I leave work, but DH Richard is always there at the other end of my cell phone to walk me to my car.

I'm up early, getting ready to accompany him to St. Paul's Anglican Church in Cincinnati, where he's officiating today.  DS Rob and DG(irlfriend) Mary Linda are planning to attend also - hope they remembered the time change!

Good morning, all! The stress and tension continue, and I don't foresee any letup before Tuesday, perhaps.  I can't even guarantee that Tuesday will be my good news day, but I'm hoping.

Today, I have some time to myself in Toyland, where the filing/search for lost materials continues along with the research, and then a trek to Brooklyn's Gallery Players to see YANK, which friends loved at NYMF three years ago.  Our Private Partz Chad is in the production, as is my friend Chris Carfizzii, and I'm going with my friend Bob from the NYPL Music Division.  Since it's a break from the Toyland frustrations and the family aggravation, I hope it will be a good afternoon.

DR MattH, I was reading your description of TORCHWOOD.  That's a few times that you've mentioned that John Barrowman was barely on.

That seems so weird to me (being a bunch of episodes behind). He is the star. and he's been on almost every minute of all the shows i've seen so far!

I guess some new electronics know to change the time today!

But i gotten woken up at the new 6:45am. Little megan called. She usually calls at 7:15am. But i guess she (or rather her mother) figured that since it would have been 7:45am that it was okay to call early (since they woke up at the new 5:45am).  :)

Oops it looks like one of those Goths from THE AMAZING RACE is a man after all. :)

They really do look "interesting!".  And their names also aren't as weird as i remembered. Just something like Kynt and Vyxin.  But when it was printed on the tv screen quickly it just looked like a bunch of letters!

Btw, I guess this means no TAR in Feb-june 2008.  I am excited it will be on now. But it's sort of sad that it means it won't be on when it was supposed to be on. I wish they had picked it up for 2 series this year.

DIRTY SEXY MONEY SPOILER FROM LAST WEEK.

I"m not sure if anyone here watches this but me and DR MattH.  It's not really something i look forward to. But it's sort of entertaining when it's on.  But there is one thing that sort of bugged me about this week.  Was it not completely obvious that nick had told donald sutherland about what was going on (making him bet a special hotel in the poker game).

They really needed to make that so that we didn't know. That would have been a good reveal.  I like shows that can give us surprises.

STRESS-FREE VIBES FOR DR ELMORE!

I fell back.  Yes, indeed I did.  I fell back onto my sofa and watched six episodes of season one's UGLY BETTY boxed set.  Watching it this way, in one series of sittings, really makes it seem more novel-like, a real page-turner!

On the subject of "Meadowlark," and I know we've been down this road before, just HOW MANY RECORDINGS ARE THERE of this song?  a

And the word of the day is: GUERDON!
Every night, Frannie the waitress would UNDERGO all sorts of trials and tribulations to please her customers, only to receive a GUERDON of two nickles per table, if that.  Such was life at McDonalds.

Good morning!

Cold morning, but promises to warm up this afternoon and we're supposedly back to 70 tomorrow for a high. Don't mind that at all. I'm still having to run my central heat, however. The mornings are just too chilly without it.

I for one am DELIGHTED to get out of daylight savings time. When I woke up at 7:15 this morning, the sun was actually UP! It has been very hard getting up the last few weeks and it's pitch black for seemingly HOURS in the morning.

And I don't think it's a coincidence that I slept almost 8 hours, the most I've slept during one night in months.
