DR td - perhaps a new, matching avatar is in order?  With hat!

Some men can carry off the wearing of hats, and some can't.  I don't think I look good in hats.

Maybe I should visit a thoroughly modern milliner.

But they're all so pretty!  One can't really can't have favorites...   :)

I like the ones with the feathers.

I'll be wearing ribbons down my back. . .

That will go well with newly spiked hair.

I am thinking of my a Blu Ray

Sony - Blu-ray High-Definition Disc Player

Model: BDP-S300 SKU: 8403514

The price has dropped $100 + (depending on the store) is this a good model or should I wait for further price drops?

It is a perfectly fine player. As for price drops, I'm guessing it'll be at least another six months to a year before there are significant price drops on standalone Blu-ray players.

I saw this model in a demo station at Target this afternoon. They were playing the second PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN movie, and it looked stupendous.

I like the ones with the feathers.

Ostrich feathers?  With a Bird of Paradise plume?

No, they'll be avoiding that place.  They're headed for the Grange.

Lunch ran very long. We went to Target and Borders in a long, afternoon shopping spree. (I ended up buying lip balm. Nothing else caught my eye, that is, stuff that was for sale.)

I do not know what happened to them.  This is terrible.  What do you think may have happened?

Lip balm is a wonderful buy.  You would be amazed at how much a tube of Chapstick goes for in local stores.

I can buy a 5-pack of Chapstick in South Carolina for what one tube of it goes for in our local market.

When I finally got back, the Blu-ray disc of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 was here, so I'll be watching that tonight instead of NAKED BOYS SINGING. Guess I'll get to it tomorrow.

I began my afternoon with last night's SVU. Very good episode with some very unusual marriage and living customs dealing with a Nigerian family.

And the intimidation network in NYC was truly frightening.

Next, I skimmed through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. No gay characters and none in the previews either.

I ended my afternoon with another MURDER SHE WROTE episode. Excellent guest cast: Abe Vigoda, Andrew Prine, Kathleen Nolan, Robert Lansing. Didn't get quite to the end of the episode, and it's one I've never seen, so I'm trying to guess the murderer's identity myself.

Isn't Shipoopi defined as "the girl that's hard to get, but you can win her yet"
