Kory was a very nice guy; no attitude whatsoever.

Well, he is from Iowa after all  ;D

I head back to NYC on Sunday.

Where is the fall SETC? Atlanta, I hope!

I go away, and Jeanne puts her house on the market to move to LA, Rodz gets engaged and everybody looks different.

So don't go away anymore   ;)

Cilla, you're looking quite svelte in your avatar.

It's an optical illusion.  Trust me on that one

Actually, so many good things have happened that maybe I should stay away more often!

I have my first Board meeting for the IA ACLU board on Sunday.  It will be a long day, about 6 1/2 hours in the car and 4 hours for the meeting.  I am looking forward to it.

It's supposed to be blonde.  Yeah right. If it didn't match the steps, I may be upset about it

Yeah, we should have pedicures around here too, but I'm just not in the mood.

I believe we're back in Greensboro for the fall convention.  Although, it used to be held in Atlanta - and may be returning there next year - depending on the status of Spirit Square.

Isn't it lovelier than lovely to have edisaurus and Sandra and her underpants back here?  Now if only Pogue would return.

I had a big ol' salad of my own concocting (from Gelson's salad bar) - lettuce, egg, parmesan cheese, mushrooms, and bay shrimp with Good Seasons Eyetalian Dressing.  Very good, but now I feel like vomiting on the ground.

I watched the bonus features on THE ROOKIE Blu-ray disc. All were ported over from the standard DVD and were in standard definition. SOme deleted scenes, a biographical featurette on the real Jim Morris, and some pointers on how to play baseball from the film's baseball supervisor.

I also listened to the commentary track. The director did most of the talking, but star Dennis Quaid would add in a comment every now and then. He really didn't seem to want to be there.

I watched the "pop-up" LOST again. Not quite as much information as last week, I didn't think, but entertaining nevertheless. They didn't seem to have as many facts to pop up this time.

As for the new LOST episode, some really good tension, some really surprising information in the backstory. Good episode but I didn't think it quite matched the breathless episodes of the past month. Good not great for me.

ELI STONE. Wonderful and kind of heartbreaking, too. Johnny Lee Miller has the most soulful eyes.

Watched the IDOL results. Shed no tears for anyone sent home. Too bad three or four more couldn't have gone with them.

Listening to the Gary McFarland Orchestra with solist Bill Evans.  Doesn't ever attain the heights of the Ogerman/Evans albums - nowhere near, but not a bad listen.
