THE MAIN MEAL

Well, you've read the notes, the notes had many courses, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're still eating their appetizers of borscht.

Us chickens are going to hit the hay although what the hay ever did to deserve being hit is anyone's guess.

bk, in the final R&H sanctioned version of the script for The Brain, does Zubrick end up being a lifeguard or a florist?

Comedian/Actor Alec Mapa was not previously on my radar.  I saw a bit of him last night on television and thought he was pretty funny.

I was first aware of Alec Mapa's brilliance on that (sadly) short-lived TV series that was based on KISS ME GUIDO.  It starred Jason Bateman and both he and Mr. Mapa were hysterical.  But the show never caught on.

The Jason Bateman-Alec Mapa series was called SOME OF MY BEST FRIENDS, but one of its working titles had indeed been KISS ME GUIDO.

I know the answer, but I'm not saying.

Good morning, all! It's quite gray outside. But I'm happy that I managed to get out of bed before 8 am. Perhaps I'm beginning to accustom myself to Daylight Savings Time?

I dreamed last night I was having a hot, clandestine affair with one of my brother Randy's in-laws! The most peculiar part of the dream is that I know none of my sister-in-law's family. It was all very covert, so only God alone knows what any of this means.

Today, more Toyland work and the laundry.  This evening, dinner with my friend Val from Barnes & Noble.

Hasn't he been doing cameos as a fashion commentator on UGLY BETTY?

DR MattH, you might know this: when's the second season of PSYCH coming out on DVD?

DR td, do you subscribe to Cabaret Scenes?  I can send you a copy of the latest issue's brief interview with Jason Graae, if you don't.  :)

Wednesday morning greetings!  In an attempt to adjust to the time change, I went to bed very early last night.  It's amazing how much better I feel after an extra hour or so of sleep.

Busy day here, too - a brownbag lunch for nonprofit folks, followed by our quarterly departmental meeting.  I'm on the agenda to demonstrate our grantseeking database - wonder if I'll get knocked off again by the administrator who's ahead of me?

I have a sort of medical question that i'm sure somebody here will have the brilliant answer to.

I had this 1 inch scratch on the front of my wrist (i have no idea how i got it).  And it left this red mark.  I'm imagining it will eventually go away by itself. But it is really bugging me (especially since i don't know how i got it).

The scab part came off and now it's all red.

I was just wondering if there is something i can put on it to speed it along.

Thanks.

Hmm, now i'm curious. Well i'm assuming he can do no wrong for the judges.

I recorded it so i will watch him, kristy and the last part of michael johns (i think those were the ones i have left).

DR MattH, you might know this: when's the second season of PSYCH coming out on DVD?

Alec Mapa has been on UGLY BETTY all season as a catty fashion and gossip commentator.

DR Elmore, the second season DVD set of PSYCH hasn't been announced to my knowledge. I'm on the lookout for it, too, and I'll announce it here when I know something. I'm sure if it has already been announced, someone else will clue us both in eventually.

Good morning!

We heading up near 70 today, and I've already seen folks out in shorts and t-shirts jogging this morning. I thought it was a bit chilly for those clothes even while running, but later, I'm sure shorts will be OK.

Today I'll be watching ENCHANTED on Blu-ray disc. After all of the raves this got during its theatrical release, I'm really looking forward to it.
