TCB - I'm hoping so.  I'm not needed (or wanted :) ) at rehearsal until 6:30 p.m. that Friday, but Skip may be involved with some music matters during the day, though.

Well, we will keep our fingers crossed, but even so, at least, we can spend some time with you.

No sign of snow here today.   A lot of blue sky, white fluffy clouds, and only a few dark ones.

I had time to watch a couple of things this afternoon.

I began with the last episode of PSYCH on disc 2. This was the one about the Civil War reenactment and a murder that happened during a practice session. I did remember the story but didn't remember the murderer so it was very enjoyable to see again.

Then I started with INDY JONES CHRONICLES. I never watched the show when it ran for two seasons on ABC. I had not seen any of the episodes in the previous two boxes (they've split the two seasons into three volumes).

What they've done is combined two episodes to make "a movie" (as it's called on the menus). The first one I've watched combines adventures during World War I in Italy (where Indy meets Ernest Hemingway and then is rivals with him for the hand of a lovely Italian girl.) Then, the action switches to Morocco where Indy is captured.

I haven't gotten to any of the four documentaries that accompany this first "movie." So, I don't know if the featurettes are five minutes long or an hour long. Should be interesting.

I can certainly tell I'll be many days with this set of episodes and documentaries.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm at work and I actually need to work.  Wednesday is the library board meeting and all of the bills for the month need to be paid BEFORE Monday morning.  They have to be entered into the computer and the vouchers printed, and that all has to be assembled by then, so it HAS to get done now!  So, get it done, I will. :)

I can say that I can see why the show never really caught on in a big way. There's not enough rip-roaring adventure that one finds in the INDY JONES movies, and the actor playing Indy at this stage in his life (Sean Flannery) isn't very charismatic.

Looks like I will be with these episodes and documentaries right up until TORCHWOOD comes on tonight. And when it's over, I'll likely pick right back up with these episodes, too.

After I'm done here at work (whenever that will be...not too long, really), I'm going to my parents' house for my niece's second birthday celebration.  It's not her second birthday, she turned 24 years old on Thursday and her mother's side of the family went out to dinner then.  Today is for both sides of her family...her dad's side.  Everyone is quite friendly, so it won't be a problem. :)

Was Ghost Whisperer a repeat last night? I thought it was going to be new. But here, they showed an episode from earlier this season. :(

I believe MOONLIGHT was expected to be a new episode, but GHOST WHISPERER had scheduled a rerun.
