Just got an e from a friend who's doing a polish on a film script:

Can you suggest the name of a "regular" place in Indiana for a modern girl (18) to be raised somewhat sheltered (small town-ish), yet able to do some local modeling (small city-ish)?  It only figures in where's she from, not otherwise.

Panel: WVU improperly granted degree to governor's daug

I saw this online.  I thought, "Gee, if they can't spell "dog" right, then they really don't have any business granting degrees," but it turns out that the headline got cut off...they meant daughter.

DR MattH, there's a side of me that thought last night's LAW & ORDER episode was as out of left field as "Is this because I'm a lesbian?" but I enjoyed the performances. I'll miss Martin; I've been a fan of his since seeing the original cast of RENT. I have a friend who was in acting class with him several years earlier and said it was all tming, that everyone wondered when Jesse's break would come.

DR Elmore, I thought THE EXACT SAME THING about "Is it because I'm a lesbian" when I watched the show last night, plugging this former gambling addiction on him. (Ryan Wolfe was given a gambling addiction out of the blue on CSI: MIAMI last year, and it almost made me stop watching the show.)

Since L&O is notorious for not giving us much information at all about the personal lives of its characters, it didn't bother me much, but to throw this at us in his last episode did seem rather arbitrary.

Argh! Don't mention that name. I had enough of Indiana Jones for awhile. (Of course, the new movie which many are predicting will be the highest grossing of the summer comes out very soon.)

Good morning!

Didn't get nearly enough sleep, but my body told me it was time to get up so I did. I hope I'll sleep that much more deeply tonight.

Today I'll be watching HOW SHE MOVE. On the surface it wouldn't appear to be something that would appeal to me, but I will be as objective as I can to watch it.

Thankfully, there are a sensible number of featurettes connected with the DVD, so it won't take me five days to get through everything.

DR JRand57 lives in Mooresville, but I don't know if that city meets any of the other criteria.

I believe Mooresville is the Encino of Indianapolis.  :)

I am still waiting for my Evening Primrose CD.  :(

I would probably still be waiting for my EP CD also if I had not glanced into the mail basket when I arrived at work this morning. I saw my box and grabbed it, thus relieving the mailroom staff of processing the article and then putting it into the inter-office mail cart and bringing it down from the 4th floor to the 3rd floor.

I hope mine arrives today, but I didn't expect it until the weekend.

Unquestionably my favorite sport is figure skating. I swam competitively in high school, but I never enjoyed participating in sports, a great handicap in my family since they were all WILD about sports and each had awards from their sports accomplishments in school and out.

As for Indiana.. Try Goshen - it's an "easy" commute to Chicago from there.  And I'm always amazed that places named "Goshen" actually exist.  Otherwise, if you want to go further south, there's always Evansville - which is sort of a small-big/big-small town.  Lots of industry there, and it's a few hours away from St. Louis, Nashville and Memphis.

Then you could also have your choice of the college towns: Bloomington, Terre Haute, Plainfield, Lafayette, Muncie, Anderson, Elkhart, South Bend, Mishawaka, Valparaiso, Gary, etc., etc., etc...

Hello, everyone.

Congrats--yeah, mine, too--to DR JOSE. I have great respect for good sight-reading.

Continued vibes to DR LAURA, who has had her share of scary incidents lately.
