Tomorrow I'll begin another TV box set: DYNASTY, Season 3, Volume 2. Haven't seen the show since the original broadcasts, so revisiting it should be a real hoot. And since it's only half a season, I should be able to get a bunch watched tomorrow.

My sister and my niece came over today and helped move some things out of the way in my living room (it's cluttered...I don't de-clutter very often

) because my parents are buying me a fold-down-sleeper-type sofa that has storage under the cushions!

My mom saw the sofa in a Shopko flyer at 50% off (normally $400, on sale for $199!) and even though the sale ended last weekend, I was able to get a rain check. On Thursday, I got the call that it had arrived and we're going to pick it up tomorrow. I actually liked the style and color of the green one in the ad next to it, but the storage space is what is the real selling point. And the tan one looks a little sturdier.

It will actually be my Christmas present from my parents, which is fine. I need a couch/sleeper so that if (when) my 3rd floor bedroom gets very hot in the summer (again), I'll have some place downstairs to sleep and be cooler and since it includes storage, I can keep the sheets and things in the couch. And the color fits in my living room. Anyway, here's the ad with both couches:

I remember watching Starsky & Hutch growing up, but I don't remember much about the show...just that I watched it. Otherwise, I wasn't a fan of crime TV shows.

Well, I've got a LOT of DVR watching to do! There's a message from Comcast on my DVRs that says "On 10/21 at 3am we will upgrade software on all HD boxes. Each box can take up to 45 min to load the software and will not display a picture. If after 90 min service does not return call...." Larry, my sister's boyfriend, was talking to someone at Comcast and they said that what a person has recorded won't be lost...but a friend of Larry's thinks that programs will be lost. The last time that they upgraded the regular DVRs, I did lose programs.

Fortunately, I have my HD-DVR pretty much cleared out, and I'll be able to watch "live" what I have set to record, so that shouldn't be a problem...unless the upgrade also affects regular DVRs. I also have one of those and it's more than 70% filled.

I think I'm dying. I'm feeling absolutely terrible - I just don't get it - it isn't because of the jogging - I've been resting mostly every day and night. This is something wholly other.

Watching SNL... And been trying to figure out how to adjust the settings on my Dad's TV in order to get the "widescreen" to properly display as "widescreen" instead of 4:3 stretched to widescreen - and still cutting out/leaving off the sides of the pic.

Don't jog! And eat more often! Stop "starving" your body for four to eight hour periods each day.

If you gain a pound or two and get better over the next week or so, better that than continuing to get sick and wasting away - literally.

I also suspect you've been over-medicating yourself with the Mucinex and Ny-quil. -That stuff can really do a number on your body if you've been taking them and haven't really had the "proper" symptoms. Besides, those medications are meant to "relieve symptoms", they are not meant to "cure" you.

And "resting" means - even if you still take your jog - not getting in your motor car and going someplace and meeting people. Stay home, stay in bed. Rest. Really rest.

Well, the issue is that my brother bought a widescreen TV for my Dad's room. They subscribe to HD cable service. However, there's no HD box in my Dad's room. So...

Under the Calorie Calculator, they even provide a "zig zag" weekly calorie guide:

Calorie cycling provides same amount of calories per week, but 'tricks' your body by constantly changing daily calories. This helps to prevent or break plateaus.

I'm going to rest no matter what. I haven't taken Ny-Quil for days, and am going to stop Mucinex, since it's not really doing anything. I have the chills right now. So weird. I'm sure the government provided this lovely flu, as they do every year, when they experiment with germ warfare.
