And speaking of pictures...
This is the curtain call from
Le Damnation de Faust at The Met this past Friday. My friend, Patrick, is just right of center, standing left of "Satan" (John Relyea in the red leather costume and hat). He has on an orange and gold wig.
*And of interest to some DRs... The people along the "top row" are the
corps de ballet and acrobat/aerialists who are part of this production. And, yes, the men take their bow clad only in their leather "evil spirit shorts". -And if you look closely at the bottom row, you'll notice the male members of the Met Chorus also without their shirts on. Something tells me that the Tenors and Basses logged a couple of hours in the gym over the past couple of weeks.

**And, yes, the clarity of the HD broadcast next weekend should provide a clearer eyeful.
