My first big move was in 1983 at age 19. I moved from my dad and stepmom's home in White City to my owm apartment in Ashland. My roommate was a co-worker named Howard Swanson. Eventually a friend of Howard's moved in.

About 6 months later I made my next big move...packing my cat and all my belongings into my 1975 AMC Matador, and came to Salem, Oregon. That was in 1984.

Anybody interested in a home made DVD copy of p/s Yellowstone Kelly starring Mr Clint Walker and Mr Edd Byrns and Ms Andra Martin.

Talking to DR MBARNUM - it seems like everyone who worked with Ms Martin was ready to leave his wife and marry her....although she was happily married and wasn't interested.

My first move was a short distance from home.  It was difficult as my parents did not want me to move out & felt at 18, with little money, I was too young.  The move itself was easy.  It was a little bachelor apartment smaller than my bedroom at home.

The first major move was with the movers from hell.  Keith had moved to New Jersey with the two dogs, leaving me with an almost two year old & three cats.  One of the cats got very sick before we moved, two days after the move she had surgery to remove a tumor.  We went from sunny California to cold New Jersey.  I was excited about the move until my friend broke down crying at the airport.  I flew the entire flight chasing an active kid around the plane, worrying about the cats in cargo (will never do that again), depressed & wondering what had we done.  The furniture did not arrive until 2 weeks after us since the driver abandoned the truck on the way.  Keith was out of town at the time & the new crew basically dumped everything, didn't even put the beds together.  My car had been on that truck & I couldn't even get out to buy diapers or winter clothes.

After that move the other 8 seemed like a breeze in comparison, even the difficult ones.  Not that any long distance move is really easy and most were far from it.

One of Ms Martin's husbands and the father of her twin boys is Mr Ty Hardin - pictured here with Ms Glynis Johns in THE CHAPMAN REPORT, a movie I wish would show up on DVD...

And speaking of Amazon.com... ;)

Have any other DRs not been receiving e-mail notifications that their orders have been processed and shipped?

I'm still getting notifications via e-mail when my items have been shipped.

I bought a handy dandy set of Sentry Wireless headphones....and they work.  Interesting....don't have to use wired headphones now!  Nifty.

Although I will also invest in an adapter rather than use batteries to power the transmitter.

Good Afternoon!

And now I'm heading out to play in the rain... At the very least, meet some friends for lunch, possibly a movie, and even possibly a show tonight.

Laters...

I'm ba-a-a-ack!  A co-worker and I switched cubicles today and our computers and phones were unavailable until kind Jared could get here to exchange them for us.  We're both back in business now, so I must extend thanks to DRs
