"Westward Ho the Wagons"
Hello, everyone. My home sale fiasco appears to be over now: the buyers withdrew their offer yesterday. I really thought this one would fly, despite all the problems. I learned last night that the buyers' agent misrepresented my offer, saying that I had elected NOT to do all the repairs, which was the opposite of my position. So there may be some fallout. A friend in California, who is quite savvy in real estate, told me that he has had numerous problems with home inspectors and said that many deliberately falsify the reports to try to get a better deal for the buyers. I have heard this from others as well. As if the current market needs yet another problem! It was indeed bad news, but I will take a break, then press on.
NEW YORK — The Fox network is making a musical comedy, a somewhat unusual project for prime-time television. Fox said Tuesday it had ordered 13 episodes of "Glee," a scripted series about a high school teacher trying to transform a glee club into a national power. The characters include a diva-in-training, a nerdy soprano and a quarterback who tries to stay cool while singing. At least three musical numbers will be performed in each show.
I don't think anyone has yet mentioned Escape to Witch Mountain!

But I'm happy to report that after finding a patch of ground to do number one on; Nigel did the remainder of his morning ablutions on the doggie training pad by the door, placed there for just that purpose. The little things in life that make us so happy Careful though. DS Craig trained his dog on those pads & couldn't un-train him.

The pads are only a back-up and he doesn't use them when he has a number one accident in the house anyway...for which he is reprimanded. But he's just been out for his second walk of the day and has done both ends of his business outside successfully. Hurrah!
My local Borders did not have the 2-disc Special Edition of Mamma Mia! - the DVD - in stock today.
But I'm guessing that didn't stop you from wearing your green spandex "Dancing Queen" outfit, did it?
