I also remember seeing "Westward Ho the Wagons" and "Third Man On The Mountain" and enjoying them.  I've not seen them since them since the 1950's though.

I've also not seen 20,000 Leagues under The Sea since circa 1955.

First Disney film I saw was "Treasure Island". Either that or "The Daughter Of Rosie O'Grady" was the first film I was taken to (that I remember).

Hello, everyone.
My home sale fiasco appears to be over now: the buyers withdrew their offer yesterday. I really thought this one would fly, despite all the problems. I learned last night that the buyers' agent misrepresented my offer, saying that I had elected NOT to do all the repairs, which was the opposite of my position. So there may be some fallout.

A friend in California, who is quite savvy in real estate, told me that he has had numerous problems with home inspectors and said that many deliberately falsify the reports to try to get a better deal for the buyers. I have heard this from others as well. As if the current market needs yet another problem!

It was indeed bad news, but I will take a break, then press on.

A NEW PRIME TIME MUSICAL?

Quote
NEW YORK — The Fox network is  making a musical comedy, a somewhat unusual project for prime-time  television.

Fox said Tuesday it had ordered 13 episodes of "Glee," a scripted series about a high school teacher trying to transform a glee club into a national power. The characters include a diva-in-training, a nerdy soprano and a quarterback who tries to stay cool while singing. At least three musical numbers  will be performed in each show.

What a coincidence!  Just last night, I saw (on-line) a trailer for what I'm guessing is a remake, called "RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN"...with The Rock.

Jane,

No photos, unless  The Lovely Wife takes them.  But I'm happy to report that after finding a patch of ground to do number one on; Nigel did the remainder of his morning ablutions on the doggie training pad by the door, placed there for just that purpose.

The little things in life that make us so happy ;D  Careful though.  DS Craig trained his dog on those pads & couldn't un-train him.

Jane, fortunately, he gets lots of re-inforcement on his walks and I believe is getting the idea that the way he's to do it in the Pogue household.  The pads are only a back-up and he doesn't use them when he has a number one accident in the house anyway...for which he is reprimanded.  But he's just been out for his second walk of the day and has done both ends of his business outside successfully.  Hurrah!

;D  Maybe.  This all began in August before our company from England arrived.  I'm hoping I'm just allergic to the Christmas tree.

That's good:)  Craig's main problem was living in an apartment in Bucharest & the dog didn't like going for walks with all the stray dogs following him.

But I'm guessing that didn't stop you from wearing your green spandex "Dancing Queen" outfit, did it?

Chocolate covered Bacon....

Umm...

*Which, in addition to myself, I believe DR edisaurus has tried too.  -And they started making mini Mo's Bacon Bars this year.  Perfect for stocking-stuffing.

**And Chocolate-Covered Bacon was the runaway hit at this year's New York Chocolate Show - which is made by Roni-Sue Chocolates in the Essex Street Market.

-Available in milk and dark chocolate. ;)

Back from the DGA.  Just too cold to run, I'm afraid.  I'll have to wait until it warms up a bit, which I'm sure will be in a couple of days from what I'm hearing.

Some of us try to be a little more gallant about it, especially when we are no great prizes ourselves. And by we I mean I.

I enjoyed last night's BIG BANG THEORY. I couldn't watch this every week. The nerdy looking-for-love comedy hooks would get old to me quickly. But to watch an episode two or three times a year, it's a very good show.
