Well, I have just finished watching the last six, count 'em SIX episodes of "Heroes" without a break...not even to go to the bathroom (which I didn't have to do anyway ;)).

Downtown Seattle

Blizzard warnings were posted for parts of Washington as high winds, snow and freezing rain began coating the state Saturday. Western Washington, including the Seattle area, could see wind gusts as high as 90 mph, meteorologist Burg said.

Icy wind and heavy snow closed a 45-mile stretch of Interestate 84 in Oregon between the Portland suburb of Troutdale and Hood River. The state braced for wind gusts up to 60 mph.

I think NASA should refrain from any possible incursions into Uranus now and in the immediate future.

On the other hand, I believe any enterprising entepreneur with a taste for the adventure of it should lay claim to Uranus and sew up all commercial exploitation of it.

That said, each of you should discuss Uranus and your thoughts about how it should be used once someone lays claim to it.

Tomorrow, my mom, my Aunt Doris and my cousin Debra and I will all venture north to Greenville SC for our annual jaunt/shopping gig.  Mostly, it's for reminiscences of the many years I lived there along with the requisite tour of old neighborhoods to see what has changed and what remains the same.

Making it all the merrier, Mother Nature is promising to make the day significantly colder than the weather I've experienced, thus far.

We've been in the upper 60s/lower 70s every day this week.  Tomorrow's high is expected to be 43.   About tomorrow's low I will not speak of it now.  Suffice it to say I won't be sleeping with a window open tomorrow night.

It's almost time for brekkies, after which I will watch a little TV, then shower/shave/dress and join my mom and aunt at their church for "preachin'".

I'm also very glad that Elmoore is having such a nice time despite the McBeths.  I'm happy that you and Ginny & family had a nice evening together.

No more bumper cars for you, BK!  I'm thankful that no one was hurt--no matter who was at fault.  That's the most important thing.
