DR Jennifer - What I was saying was that is was rigged.  There is no way that THE PRODUCERS of the show would ever include a style of dance that none of the dancers could ever pull off.  Yes, some dancers may be out of their comfort zone with some of the dance styles, but no one has ever done anything that has been totally out of their realm, or that they could not reasonably pull off.  Additionally, the competition round is taped on Tuesday so that it can be edited before Wednesday night's broadcast.  How else could they do those playbacks during the judges' critiques.  So, if something should happen to go wrong during the taping, they can always do a second tape if needed.  -Or if they just need to reshoot a section of a dance from a different angle.  That also gives them a chance to learn the opening number for the results show.

Just because it's "reality" TV that doesn't mean it's "true".

I'm up.  Once again, I decided not to get out of bed when the loud noises began at seven (of course, seven is always the loudest - once an hour goes by, then the loudness dissipates a bit).  So, I'm up, have read through various and sundried e-mails and shall maybe do the long and/or shorter jog.

This might be a dumb suggestion, but have you ever tried ear plugs?  I used some at the concert i went to on Canada Day and they really help.

I knew the shows were taped. Because i also noticed those playbacks during the judges comments.

Are you saying that they decide who does which dance all the time or just in the case of the ballet number. And is this just your best guess or do you know this for a fact?

I love love loved that ballet number melissa and ade did. To me they are the couple that has worked out the best.  And i did not even know her at all from vegas.

There are some people to me that lucked out (like randi). IF she wasn't with evan (who seems to be a fan fav) then she would have been in the B3 many times.

Not in the least!  Hanging Macheath distorts his deliberate parody of the popular Italian opera seria and ther silly happy endings of the time. Also, reprieving Macheath gives the "playwright" a chance to comment on his forced happy ending; Macheath and Polly appear in his sequel POLLY, which was not staged in Gay's lifetime.

PLAYER. All this we must do, to comply with the Taste of the Town.

BEGGAR. Through the whole Piece you may observe such a Similitude of Manners in high and low Life, that it is difficult to determine whether (in the fashionable Vices) the fine Gentlemen imitate the Gentlemen of the Road, or the Gentlemen of the Road, the fine Gentlemen.----Had the Play remain'd, as I at first intended, it would have carried a most excellent Moral. 'Twould have shown that the lower sort of People have their Vices in a degree as well as the Rich: And that they are punish'd for them.

It was good wasn't it?  I mean i saw the preview the day before of nina calling cane out. And i knew the person who showed up at the end was coming. But i just didn't expect it to unfold that quickly. What a great friday cliffhanger. The preview for the next show looks good too. I wonder if everyone will still be mad at cane knowing he had PIII's blessing. And I am so curious if it's Phillip3 or phillip4 who will be the gay character. i think knowing who is cast as P4 that i'd rather it be him. That would be hot (it's the guy who played Coop on GL).

Actually re: SYTYCD i would be fine with them having something to do with who does what dance each week. I don't think that the same couples should always have ballroom ...

I wouldn't even really care if they fixed that melissa/ade got ballet, since it was incredible. And they did have to prove themselves in other styles on past weeks. Plus it's not like he's ever done that before.

I've watched the first 4 episodes of THE FASHION SHOW online. Interesting. Similar to PROJECT RUNWAY yet different enough. No model selection and their own taglines. I did not think i would like the hosts, but so far i don't hate them. My gosh they have toned down Isaac Mizrahi a lot. Every time i've seen him on an entertainment show reviewing outfits he acts crazy This is MUCH better.
