Ginny & Cilla are in the Central Time Zone.  I'm Eastern. Their 6:00 was my 7:00.

DR  Cilla I'm really craving a little of your homemade strawberry ice cream.  Yes, I do have an ice cream maker.  I even have a recipe for strawberry ice cream, or at least I used to.  I just want a few bites, not enough to make it ;)

I used the recipe in the booklet that comes with the cuisinart ice cream maker.  You can always put the extra in the freezer for later

I watched a wide variety of things tonight. I began with V FOR VENDETTA on Blu-ray. Looked and sounded wonderful, and I've always found the film intriguing even though parts of the plot break down a bit and don't quite add up.

Next I watched my favorite HD-DVD: PRIDE & PREJUDICE. Always good to lose oneself in for a couple of hours, and it worked its magic on me yet again. Loved it.

Then I watched tonight's TRUE BLOOD. Lots of different plots going on and perhaps there is one too many. I really don't care for one going on at Sookie's house with the freeloaders.

I ended my evening watching that John Barrowman special "The Making of Me" in which he tries to find out why he's gay. Pretty interesting stuff, and I love that he speaks in a Scottish brogue with his parents but not otherwise.

I was fine with the person who was eliminated  on Next Food Network Star and with the person who was eliminated on Design Star.  Good grief, I would do better than that room!

I mentioned it the other day: Keira Knightley. No, it's not as complete or as "Austen" as the Jennifer Ehle/Colin Firth version, but you can get the basic story in two hours rather than the miniseries version so I generally watch it when I want to see P&P.

I wonder if I'll have another day off tomorrow or if THE TOWERING INFERNO or something else will arrive for me to work on.

If I have the day off, I'll likely watch another Lex Barker/Tarzan picture from the Warner Archives. I have to keep most of the evening free for TORCHWOOD. (I wish our cable company carried BBC AMerica-HD. Sadly, we only get the standard BBC America.)

I do like that one - but I really love the Colin Firth version - even Vixdad who is not a fan of P & P  will sit and watch the Colin Firth version with me

I just like to sit and watch Colin Firth ;)

And he's the main reason I preferred the movie "Valmont" over "Dangerous Liaisons".
