BK of course is no stranger to Dan O'Herlihy roles, having played the role of Grig (portrayed by Dan O'Herlihy on screen) in the NYMF 2006 presentations of the LAST STARFIGHTER musical.

BK played Grig in 2006?  I didn't know he performed at NYMF, as well!  How did I not know this?  Or did I know it and, due to age, forgot?

I believe the 2006 NYMF presentation was a reading, and not the full production (which followed in 2007).

This is my final work day of this week as I am taking a well-earned (if not well-deserved) day off tomorrow.

Who's all a-twitter now? Or are you just twee?

Well, then....that would explain why we've no photos of BK in Grig makeup!

It appears that Twitter is having to "defend" itself from a "denial of service attack".

*And I really am wondering if the current slowdown and glitches over at Facebook right now are related to the same "attack".

We might have to *gasp* pick up a phone today.

Just checking movie times for this weekend, and noticed that "Julie & Julia" is having a 12:01AM showing tonight/tomorrow.  I mean, I expected "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" to have a late-night premiere, but not "Julie & Julia".  Hmmm....

I think I'm going to go to the 10:05 tomorrow morning.  Yes, it's early, but it's also only $6.00.

It is very cloudy and gray outside, with tiny rumbling thunders. A daytime rain would be unusual in the Arizona desert in the summertime, but this summer has been so weird that anything is possible.

I'm just hoping we don't have sweltering heat in December.

Today is a GLAD day.

I'm GLAD it's my last workday of the week.

I'm GLAD tomorrow is payday and I'm off.

And.....are you ready?

Reallly, really ready?

I'm GLAD because it's "shrimp bisque Thursday" at the Oasis Restaurant where I shall be having lunch!

Not only that, but my blood pressure is steady, my cholesterol is down, my blood sugar is stable and...three days a week...I get an incredible endorphin rush at the gym.

Oh...

Twitter is back up.

*And it was just reported on the news that Twitter and Facebook were most likely the targets of a cyber attack of some sort this morning.

My nightmare once again is that I will have at two muleteers who look like Carol Channing.

LOL!! That's some nightmare.  I wonder if Carol ever tried to do a production of Man of La Mancha!    In the spirit of Googie Gomez, I can hear Carol now--"Don Quixote?  It's a stretch, but I could do that part."
