DR DERBRUCER - I looked for "the forgotton" on my TV schedule, but could only find "The Forgotten".  I'm guessing that's the same thing. ;)

Sorry, DAW stole my "e".

Tonight another new episode of GLEE which I'm looking forward to. I'm going to sample the ABC sitcoms that come on opposite GLEE: MODERN FAMILY and COUGAR TOWN (though I won't see them until I eat lunch tomorrow).

CBS' schedule is all returning shows with their season premieres tonight.

NBC has the poorly reviewed new show MERCY and LAW & ORDER: SVU on its new night and time.

At 8pm there are actually 3 shows that are quite similar and would appeal to the same audience:

AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, DANCING WITH THE STARS and SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE.

I will also try EASTWICK at 10pm.

Yes, DR JRand59, it is. I agree with you about the glorious score, but unlike you, I find the story a wonderful mix of whimsy, blarney, politics, and social criticism. I appreciate your wish for my Tony nomination, but I've only scored about 70 bars of music and the rest of the orchestrations are by two men I feel quite inferior to, Russell Bennett and Don Walker.

I should add that another orchestrator in the business who does a lot of revivals gets those jobs by putting down the original orchestrators to the producers and powers-that-be as "generic 40s" or "generic 50s" hack work. I think it's great they give him a chance to do "generic millenium" new ones.

LOL.....the lyrics I was thinking of.....I gave you the wrong verse....

it's about

Sweet potatoes....

and the line I don't get is about Freeman's Status or something like that....I can't understand it.

I am torn between GLEE and the CBS comedies.  I really like GARY UNMARRIED.

I am thinking I will go with GLEE and catch GARY in reruns in October.

At 9pm I will record GLEE.

But on the CW there is a new show called THE BEAUTIFUL LIFE, about the rfashion industry. I watched it online and actually really liked it!

DR Cillaliz, re: DANCING WITH THE STARS.

I don't always decide my favorite in the first week. But i can see who i think i will like.

As i said, for the men, i thought mark (iron chef), louie and aaron carter had potential. And i did think donny osmond was really good.

As for the women last night, there were some very interesting ones. I also thought kelly osbourne did much better than i ever could have expected. Especially after they showed how bad she was initially. I thought her free dance was amazing.

The best to me though were mya and joanna. I thought mya and dimitri's dance was one of the best ever. It was so beautiful. I could not believe len gave them a 5. Even if he did not think it was traditional. He could have given them a 7.

I figured joanna and derek would be good and they were.

Sabrina the teenage witch(melissa joan hart) to me was just okay in her main dance. But i loved her relay.

I thought macy gray was not good at all. Although i wonder if she has a lot of fans. Besides her i thought that kathy ireland was the worst.

I also think natalie coughlin (olympic swimmer) could do well. She seemed a little stiff.

But it seems like the best will be mya, joanna and kelly!

It's Wednesday, and after a good night's sleep, my eyes are still tired.  Here at work trying to put on a happy face with the kids, but feeling blah today.  Maybe because it's a LONG day, (won't be home until 9:00pm or later) Happy Wednesday everyone.

My windows are open. First time in many months.

Once I got my operable skylight, it's never been closed...even when it's been raining! ;D I love it!!
