I have 124 e-mails - my guess is that 95 of them are spam at one particular address.  Let's see, shall we?

I was completely wrong.  Only 90 of them are spam at one particular address.

I have a quick question for y'all:

Which Jerry Lewis movie contained a scene of him undressing (having been disguised as a woman) and removing a brassier that contained two large oranges?

I need this vital piece of information for a Twitterplay I'm writing...

Not a great day for shlepping to New Jersey, but a seder awaits.  I'm not a fan of the Port of Authority :) on a weekday afternoon, but the seder itself is always nice.  And I think i'll be getting a lift back into NYC tonight, so that'll make the trip home pleasant.

DR DtM - seems to me it was SCARED STIFF wherein Mr Lewis impersonated Carmen Miranda.  This was a Martin and Lewis movie from the Stone Age.

No, it wasn't that one, DR JRand.  This was a Lewis-only movie and was in color.  Those oranges were ORANGE!

Changed my monitor settings and lost several pounds in the standing up photo.

I would like to be able to do this in real life.

He played a woman in THE FAMILY JEWELS, I think, but he wasn't disguised as a woman.

Speaking of Gerald Mohr, a fine working actor, I just saw him in an episode of a really terrible tv series from 1961/62 called KING OF DIAMONDS. The show starred Brod. Crawford and a one (non) hit wonder named Jay Hamilton whose career began in 1961 and ended in 1962. I am pretty certain Jay was one of Henry Willson's clients.

Broderick Crawford.

He was a very nice, very gentle man.

So unlike his screen image.

I enjoy watching him, particularly in HIGHWAY PATROL.

DR Druxy, did you ever meet actors William Boyett or Jack Hogan?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with either one of them.

It's about time to leave Toyland for Rodgers & Hammerstein territory. What I'd like is a nap, so I hope I don't sleep through this meeting.

We have our own annual joke, which no one else gets.  When Gabe was very young, he loved the film THE BORROWERS, and there's a line early in the film when the father and son get home and start to walk in their tiny little house, and the mother comes out, points at the rug and shouts, "CARPET!" (i.e., don't get it dirty).  So every year when the Haggadah is explaining the various accoutrements and we get to Karpas, we all scream "KARPAS!" like the mom in THE BORROWERS.   We typically get looks of confusion, and in fact did last night.  :)

After seeing his picture, I do remember Boyett as being the Sgt. on ADAM-12.

Hogan, on the other hand, does not look familiar.

I've been a very lazy boy this morning, but will now attempt at least some sort of jog, after which I'll do an errand and whatnot, pick up whatever packages I have, and then do some paper blocking, although I intend to do most of that whilst supping later.
