I just ordered the FOREVER PLAID Las Vegas 10 Year Anniversary CD.

I am hoping to interest my theater in opening out 50th season with the Plaids......I am not optimistic, but I AM persistent!

A friend in the L.A. environs said it was a 4.0. . . .

That's probably a lot more accurate.  I wonder which organization reported an incorrect finding, unless it really was a 6.9 in which case I just think we'd be hearing a little more about MAJOR damage.

According to the NY Times there were two quakes:

What probably invited the thieves was not only the garage door being open but the garage LIGHT being on, as if to beckon them, saying, "Come, steal from us!"  :)  Because we typically close the garage door, no, the cars weren't locked.  I went to bed early last night since I had to be up so early this morning, and Betsy just plumb forgot to close the garage door (not to mention turn off the garage light).  No other reports of burglaries in the neighborhood--Betsy asked the policeman who came to take the report.

Water Sloshing in the Pool is the title of my new CD of water songs.

Don't forget to include multiple recordings of "The Waters of March."

If you read the article is says the quake was far enough down much of the shock was absorbed, so I think the 6.9 is accurate.

My brother-in-law in West L.A. wrote to say he was fine, only felt a little rolling.

DR JMK, how horrible! I hope all it taken care of soon and you are able to calm your nerves.

Continued vibes to Betsy, who clearly didn't need this (or you). No, no, no! Let me rephrase; I meant neither one of you needed a break-in!

No, Jeanne, I think you had it right the first time.   ;D

Funny, now I'm reading the 1st quake was from 6.9 to 7.2 and the 2nd largest of the quakes was 4.1.  It will be interesting what the final report it.

I'm shocked how late it is.  I have not done my darn exercises & stretches, & I was too full this morning after the blueberry buttermilk pancakes. :)  Keith said he will make them again next week or waffles.  :) :)

When I went there it said 7.2.

This is of course the WEEK OF the Dancing With the Putnam County Stars competition.

Yes, now it's 7.2 - I'm sorry, but a quakes of that magnitude have decimated whole cities - thus far, there has not been one report of any damage.

And if we felt the 4.0 quake, would we not have felt the 7.2 quake twenty minutes earlier?

Forgot to mention that Friday I got us another cult film release that will please some folks around here.  I wonder if MBarnum will actually bother to visit this here site so he doesn't miss out on Little Shop?
