Well, you've read the notes, the notes were still, and now it is time for you to post until the still cows come home.

A coincidence: I just finished the passage in your book, BK, about John Pleshette minutes before reading about him in your column.

Most interesting to read of the NYMF brouhaha.....of course so MANY of these shows don't go anywhere, so they are trying to get as much money as possible NOW....and if a show does have an afterlife like say...oh.....BRAIN FROM PLANET X......it's a cash cow.......outrageous!

HELLO DOLLY went well last night.....and the Box Office was buzzing from 5 p.m. on.....it looks like we will have several sellout nights!  What is good is good and what isn't....well......it isn't fatal to the show.....

Last night DR Jane was writing about THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO

Quote
She is supposed to be really small & look like a teenager

Well you can see her for yourself in the clip.

I guess each person has their own versions of Lisbeth in their head when they read the book.  To me she had to be petite and look youngish. And she does fit that for me.  She is slender and i could believe that she was around 20ish.

TOD:

I've got nothing "new" to watch this weekend, so I'll probably choose a couple of titles from my library.

Maybe a good western....

I know it's John Ford, but I might even take a look at FORT APACHE.

Well, that was a new experience. I just saw a coyote trot through the front yard. Looked like a female and must have pups hidden somewhere.

That is interesting that DR JohnG wrote that he believes american audiences would not buy THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO if it was dubbed in English.

So they will be happier to have a Swedish movie with English subtitlees?

I haven't seen many dubbed movies. But both of these films were dubbed in French here. And i liked it that way fine. Better I think than if i was watching it in Swedish with subtitles.

I've heard of product placements before, but did they really have Pepsi Machines in the 1880's?

Good morning, all! Another bad night of sleep, but it's my own fault for pigging out last night before I went to bed. Today, I have laundry and a number from THE ROSE OF ALGERIA to edit. Only one more to go after that.
