Listening to the new seven-disc release of Spartacus. Thus far, a mixed bag, but I'm only on CD 1, which is all the existing stereo tracks (or all we're being told are existing - some of us think otherwise). The sound is the mixed part - I'm not fond of their mastering guy, who is very average, in my opinion (IMO, in Internet lingo) - it could sound much better with a few tweaks here and there. The story on these particular stereo tracks is that Spartacus was originally going to be two LPs - but then at the last minute they issued a one LP release. The other stereo tracks were from those leftover tracks. The question is did anyone actually go to Universal and do the detective work to see if the original magnetic tracks were there somewhere.

DR Jane, YELLOWSTONE KELLY is a movie, and it has a great cast...not just Clint Walker, but the lovely Andra Martin and the handsome Rhodes Reason. Oh, and Ed Kookie Byrnes.

A few of the window coverings have been removed letting in light

We will have to live with the rest through the weekend which they won't be working.

I just went in the garage and boy am I glad my car isn't in there. The smell was overwhelming.

DR Jane, you won't find any of the Warner Bros. archve movies at Netflix. These are MOD (made on demand) dvds, which means they are only made when and as they are ordered. Warner's is doing this with their (what are considered) lesser titles that would never otherwise get any type of dvd release.
