Dear DR Druxy,

Have you ever been to the Congress Street Bridge to watch the bats fly out at dusk?

That would be really cool if I could stay in a car or somewhere the bats couldn't get close to me

Unless you are a mosquito, the bats wouldn't come close.

Teem Glee seemed like a good nickname for those two guys. I didn't think "nerds" was a very good, or nice, description for them, however.

The only team I dislike is the couple that includes that boastful, argumentative guy. His girlfriend seems nice, but someone needs to tell her that she could do a lot better then him.

My favorite team is the father/daughter team.

I like the tattooed team, in that they seem nice, but I don't hold out much hope for them surviving this game for very long. LOL!

The home shopping hosts work well together, and that could get them pretty far.

I have not really gotten to know the other teams well enough to form much of an opinion, yet.

Gotta give the woman who got slammed with a watermelon in her face credit, that had to hurt and she just got up and nailed that suit of armor...you go girl  or is it armour

I"m waiting for the immigration judge to call for our 2:30 PM hearing.  The court closes at 4:30 and it's 4:10.  I always get nervous about this time that the judge isn't going to call.   I may have to put a call in to his clerk

DR TCB - the direct to video TITANIC II seems to be one of the worst movies ever made.

Have I mentioned how much I hate the NEW IMDB?

I agree.

It wasn't broken, so why fix it?

Because they can. ::)

Funny, but I had a similar response to what I saw as being bad, unspecial effects in the first "Titanic." Still, the  original had Gloria Stuart.

Now I'm outta here.  I took some photos of my new cat sculpture at lunch but the sun was totally wrong. I'll see if they are postable when I get home.  Otherwise, I'll take some more tomorrow when I go to pay for it.   It's part of a display that will be up until the end of October.

Gloria Stuart was the only reason I went and saw TITANIC at the theatre.

Her autobiography is quite good, and a bit racy!

It's cuter in person, lol.  I love the human nose on the cat.  It's tongue is sticking out, but you can't see it very well

Wow, the first new show of the season is cancelled. LONE STAR on fox.

I didn't even get a chance to watch the first 2 episodes.

The sad part is that this was supposed to be one of the most critically acclaimed shows.

Thanks George.  They are different and I wasn't sure I wanted one at first, but when I went back today and stood by it, I was glad I decided to buy it.   I like to collect art by local artists. This is the first sculpture I've gotten.  It's by a woman from near Omaha. I met her at the party after the art walk and it was really fun to hear how she sculpted the cats.  The stand is a disk brake, they are made of rebar and steel, styrafoam inside and cement on the outside.   They are REALLY heavy.  She used several colors of cement stain and sealed them so they can be outside.   Of course I don't think cats belong outside, so mine will be living by my big fireplace.

I watched a couple of the movies I bought.....

MOON with Sam Rockwell, didn't finish it.

COCO BEFORE CHANEL - I liked this movie a lot

HANGOVER - funny movie with some nice guys in it

I enjoyed COCO BEFORE CHANEL, too.

Then, I found out that she was a Nazi collaborator, so I sold my DVD on ebay.

I had no idea! :o
