Before blaming Palin's "hit" list I suggest waiting for more details.  The first news out indicates this 22 year old had his own strange agenda.

I blame her for everything these days.

I've noticed.

Really?

Yup.  I bet she's the reason your property in Ohio hasn't sold ;)

Seriously, there's no way to know right now that she was even the target.  He could have just been a very disturbed young man who took a gun to the store to start shooting people.  It she's they target, why shoot all those people?

I've been resisting saying anything about the political comments, but I will say this.  Sarah Palin isn't in power and neither is George Bush.  Blaming them for everything is really wearing thin.

I am very saddened that a federal district court judge was shot and killed.   It's too bad they aren't discussing him much on TV

A little while ago I looked outside and noticed the mountains are covered in snow.  I have no idea when that happened as we had fog this morning.  Figuring there would also be fog at the hiking trails possibly causing more ice I decided to walk on the walking path this morning.  It felt colder though it was ten degrees warmer than yesterday.

CNN is going to talk about him next.   The judge I appear before on a regular basis is going to Tucson to help with the caseload in February. I wonder if he'll have to go sooner now

They are reporting that a year ago the judge received threats and had federal marshal protection.

I find it interesting a judge from one state can go help in another state-nice too.

I was able to read headlines about the threats to the judge, however, I can't open any of the news stories.  I think too many computers in this house are slowing down our connections.

A state judge from one state can't help in another state, but a federal judge from one district can go help a federal court in another district

A federal judge can relocate to another state then, an advantage if one wants it.

I'm not sure about that part.  They can be a visiting judge, but I'm not sure they can just move without the President appointing them or something.  Don't know

I had some bacon and eggs.  I've done six pages so far and will probably do another four between now and bedtime.  I've also done an edit road map, track titles and put the entire CD together, so that's a load off.  Still have to write liner notes but we're getting there.  I'd love to finish the liners now so that tomorrow is totally a ME day and writing day.

I wouldn't even know where to find grits here. OR how to make them.

Try the same aisle as you find the oatmeal.

Last night I was playing games on the computer and I had the Cotton Bowl game on the TV.  I wasn't really watching until I heard the announcer shout, "The ball has been intercepted.  Judy has intercepted the ball!"

I finally had to stop and look at the TV.

It turned out that Judy is spelled J-u-d-e, but I was really expecting to turn around and see.......

Richard and I have returned from several errands to places that were not close to each other.  I wish we'd set the trip meter before we left.  We picked up Richard's suit at the dry cleaner and our audio copy of MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL at a branch of my former employer, bought Scotch and soda and delivered it to my mother, and had Skyline chili for dinner.  We visited for a while with Mom and would have offered to take her to dinner with us, but it's too cold here for a 92-year-old to be out and about.
