I think I will call Peter Schickele tomorrow; one of my favorite albums of his has never been released on CD and I wonder if he's had it transferred and can burn me a copy. There's a sound clip on his site but the album isn't available. Damn!

Maybe someone from Kritzerland should call Peter Schickele tomorrow about one of your favorite albums of his never being released on CD.

My birding buddy was sick today, so I do not have any photos from a birding excursion to share with you today.

I did catch up on laundry today. And I made chicken and noodles for dinner.

I am very pleased to say that my noodles finally matched the awesomeness of Aunt Ruth's noodles. My DH always talks about Aunt Ruth and her noodles whenever I make chicken and noodles, but until tonight I did not make them the same way she did.

I always hear about the summer my DH spent with Aunt Ruth and Uncle Oliver on their egg farm whenever I attempt chicken and noodles. And about the way she spanked him when he said, "Chicken AGAIN?" Apparently, one eats a lot of chicken when one lives on an egg farm.

I can assure you that your husband and I had different Aunt Ruths.  Mine would have been Aunt Ruth and Uncle Dorothy.

Oh -- and the electric company came by and put in a new meter. So, of course, the router couldn't reset after losing power. So I was internetless for the afternoon.

It is a good thing I was home, because he said he would have climbed over my fence to get to my meter. I have a terrible fear of people climbing over my fence for liability reasons.
