Ordeal by Innocence arrived yesterday.

I got my copy of KNOXVILLE:1915 last week, but haven't listened to it yet.

TOD:

DVD - Queen Kelly a 1928 silent film with Gloria Swanson directed by E.V. Stroheim.  It was never really finished, but this has most of the footage and some stills and titles to cover the rest.  I guess my main problem with the film is that the Prince falls madly in love with beautiful Gloria the moment he sees her (she is an orphan in a convent) - and Gloria is the same horse-faced dog she always was.

CD - Earth VS the Spider, again

Looking forward to the new release that is to be announced tonight!

Good morning, all! I've another trek to Toyland this morning to pick up more books. Beyond that. there's little on the agenda but work here: I've got to finish a bar count for Victor Herbert's Irish Rebellion operetta EILEEN, I have five CDs of 102 Herbert songs to listen to, I've got personal items from Toyland to put away, and thay will be most of my weekend.

I've also got a dinner date tonight with two friends I never see enough of, an Encores! luncheon tomorrow that I might miss, because of the Toyland hiatus. On Sunday, I've got a party for cast and crew after WHERE'S CHARLEY? finishes up.

TOD:
DVD: The Netflix items sit here. Oy!
CD: A lot of Victor Herbert, Guy Haines, Liz Callaway, Jacques Offenbach and others
   VCR: cheap porn

I'm up, I'm up... And I'm definitely feeling a bit achy after the past couple of days of moving. Oof!

I'm waiting for the coffee to kick in too.  Only I don't drink coffee.

I'm waiting for the ...um... orange juice to kick in.  Yes, all that Vitamin C will give me lots of PEP!

Spent yesterday in Austin walking from party to party during a massive South by Southwest (SXSW). Great food, drinks, music and all of it free. (Well, all but one beer.) And the sun felt great. I needed some of that vitamin D.

Some videos to brighten your day. They aren't hysterical but they made me laugh.

Disappointing Gay Best Friend

It's a take on the "Sassy Gay Friend" videos, which I really don't find all that funny. I like Disappointing better.

If he calls, we will definitely get together.

I was supposed to be in Scottsdale this weekend, but since I'm not, my schedule is totally open.
