Every once in a while, if I want a little mood enhancer, I go over to You Tube and watch the original Susan Boyle performance on BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT. Today, while I was listening, I just happened to notice the count of how many people have watched that clip. Today the total was 63,655,000 (and some change). Imagine that! And there are several different cuts of that same performance, some with more set-up, etc. So this clip in High Def, by itself, was watched by almost 64 million people.

There were some wonderful songs on the album "Charles Sings Strouse" that are not overly familiar. "Homeless" from "Lyle," "Too Young to Be Old" from "Lady for a Day" and "The Man Who Invented Ice Cream" from "Bojangles" are three favorites.

I've always been fan of "Those Were the Days" from "All in the Family," too.

I am that senile -- the big joke around the office is that I cannot remember anyone's names when I wish to address them -- there are only 9 of us
