DR TCB - The Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre is part of the Prather Entertainment Group - a.k.a. Prather-land. ;) I've worked at their place in Ft. Myers, FL, and they also have one in Mesa, AZ. It's a good place.

I think that ME AND MY GIRL is just starting a mini-tour of all the Prather theaters (3?).  Maybe Laura and Sandra can catch my friend Vince when the show gets to Mesa?

Back from my meeting and deal is done.  Kritzerland will be releasing its first newish Broadway show (albeit one that closed in June) The People In The Picture, starring Donna Murphy, with music by Mike Stoller and Artie Butler, and lyrics by Iris Rainer Dart.  Very excited to be doing this and it's on the very fast track for a December release.  This was originally coming on a different label, but they parted ways a few months ago - and when I heard how this label does things and the charges they make (believe me they pay for NOTHING - the authors paid for everything, and would have paid for printing, pressing and everything else), fees for all manner of pointless things - which is, I think, how they stay in business.  Well, that's just disgusting to me and if you heard the outrageous charges it would be disgusting to you.  It certainly was disgusting to the authors, who are very happy to be doing this with Kritzerland, who charges no fees like those as we really have no employees.

Congratulations to BK and Kritzerland!! ;D

DR TCB - Are you able to do any of your work from home? Tele-commuting?

We are still hoping that can be an option, once the Federal Funding Specialists are under the control of Headquarters in Olympia, rather thn under the individual regions.  That may happen as soon as November.

Thanks for posting the cast, Jose. The names that I recognize make it sound like it could be great fun.

Good for you, John G., I didn't recognize a single name.

I'm back in the Dentist Chair this evening at 6pm. The new crown is ready. Only one more tooth to work on after that. I need prep work for the crown which may take two or three visits, then the impression and then the installation of the crown.

When it's over I will have spent enough to buy a 3-D television.

Can we please stop with the dentist talk - especially as I'm 9 months overdue for an appointment.

My general sense is that the Chinese will forgive our enormous national debt to them if only we agree to take Zach back.  :)

In that case, I don't think it should be your decision alone.

Yum!

There's a place called "Chip Shop" in Brooklyn.  They offer some pretty authentic fish and chips and other English pub fare: curries, mushy peas, chip buttys, and deep-fried candy bars. *They're also (in)famous for letting customers bring any other food item to be battered and deep-fried. Deep-fried pizza slices, however, are no longer allowed. ::)

Sounds great. You can't beat a high cholestoral chip butty. I used to eat lots of them when I was in the North of England - where they eat little else!

It seems likely that DS Zach will be participating in a Chinese exchange program where we will have a Chinese student live with us in February for a couple of weeks and then Zach will go live with his family next summer.

Congrats to Zach! :D

Zach?  Congrats to JMK and Betsy!

When did you last go to the gym?

I used the cross trainer today for a whopping 6 minutes.  In total I worked out for an hour & 20 minutes.  I have to slowly build up on the cross trainer.

Years ago, there used to be a local restaurant called Crackers.  One of their specialty appetizers was deep fried pickle spears.  They were very good...but Crackers closed about 15-20 years ago. :(

On the other hand, I have a new favorite Indian actor.

His name is Diganth, and he makes Kannada language films (known as Sandalwood).

Diganth has loads of charm and I expect big things from him.

But what you find to talk about together?
