Gee, with all the excitement here this evening, I might as well go to bed and watch TV and cuddle with Nicky.

But I don't want us to have an all-time low either.

I believe we had one day that was below 100, so I am safe with that number.

But perhaps we threw out that total because it was a ridiculously low total.

And where, might I ask, is DR George?  He went off to usher last evening, but never came back?

Perhaps he met the love of his life, and they have been in bed ever since.

No, if that was the  case, you would expect him to stop by and gloat.

If that is the case, he probably would have trouble finding the computer, let alone signing in to HHW.

I hope that everyone here is aware that when I go in for surgery, someone is going to have step-up and keep posting on slow days.

The hospital requires all cell phones to be shut-off when entering.  That applies to visitors, so I don't know what the rule might be for inmates (LOL!).

It should.  I used mine until I dropped it while on drugs & broke it.  Keep your cell phone in a protective case.

I preferred talking to people on the land line in my room.  Calls out were easier to make on my cell, plus it was difficult/painful to reach the land line.

When my father was in various hospitals I used my cell while I was in his room, even in ICU.

I have packed us a lunch: peanut butter and jelly sandwiches,

Peanut butter and jelly sandwich Laura? I've never heard of such a thing (at least not on this side of the Atlantic). Sounds revolting ;D

It is a staple here - I never heard of beans on toast until I met my husband - I was likewise put off at the sound of it --- however I quite like it now

Peanut butter and grape jelly is pretty much a standard for kids in the U.S. Certainly not my favorite, but it doesn't need refrigeration.

You are kidding aren't you, Doug?

P & J is very American, plus I believe their peanut butter isn't as good as our is.

Well, there was a smiley face, so I wasn't sure.  And then I thought that maybe "jelly" didn't mean the same thing in England.

OH! You're right  - jelly is what we know as jello or gelatin here  -  Doug it is a peanut buttter and  what you ight call "jam" sandwich - traditionally here we use grape - what we call jam I think you call preserves
