I hope they don't grow back.  Figures these lived while half your lawn died. ::)

Hemp aka ditch weed does grow wild here, all over the place, so if it comes back I'll just pull it again and throw it out.

OK, time to run the vacuum.   That will make me feel so much better.   When I get stressed I don't clean and when I don't clean I get evern more stressed.  So there you go.

I'm backing off some of the things I was doing.  I didn't do the film festival this year, I'm off the friends library board, I'm saying "no" more.  I really enjoy a lot of the things I agree to do.  I'll just have to decide what I enjoy the most and walk away from the rest.   THe people on the hist pres comm don't know it, but I have one more year in this term and I"m not sure if I'll re-up.   They will be surprised, but I just can't do it all. On the other hand, I can't think of anything I've volunteered for that I regret volunteering.

Jane did I mention that after mowing I wrapped my ankle with an ace bandage and took Aleve this morning.  It's feeling much better

Well, now even I can't see the picture of my sister's wedding that I posted earlier, so I'll try another method.

Thanks, DR Jane!  We've had fun reminiscing this weekend.  Of the 4 women in that photo, 3 of us were at today's festivities.  My sister, the bride, of course, and the bridesmaid next to me.  She's my brother-in-law's sister and was a senior in high school.  My sister has lost touch with the maid of honor, in the darker dress.

Thanks, DR Cillaliz!  We have had a good time, but I'm pretty weary.  Mom and I are heading home tomorrow, with a lunch stop with some long-time family friends and a quick drive through Ann Arbor.

Signing off to finish the book I'm reading on my Kindle - Stephen King's 11/22/63.  Hope I can stay awake long enough...

I guess it was Brunch Sunday, and I am just now finding out.

I didn't mind the elimination on TAR, and am certainly looking forward to the 2-hour finale next week.  I don't know if it's four teams for an hour and then the final three.....or if we have a Final Four.....but the promo made it look very exciting.....but then again, that's what a promo is supposed to do.

I like both your pictures DR GINNY.....the one from NOW and the one from THEN.

DR JOHN G thanks for sharing that article.....yes REAL journalism is on its last legs, it seems.....but then again.....something may bring it back.

DR CILLA LIZ - I know it happens, it's happened to me, but I don't understand how anyone can get mad at a volunteer!!!  LOL....

Of course when it happens to me, I usually lose the number and email address of the organization.

Mr. Bruce?

Thank you so much for talking about me personally today in the notes. You made me blush, I was so flattered you remembered my birthday.

Thank you so very much, from the bottom of my heart! <3
