Watched Hyde Park on Hudson - very enjoyable save for the absolutely wretched direction - he couldn't kill the good writing and performances but he surely didn't help them. The film also contains what is now my favorite film score of 2012 by someone named Jeremy Sams, who I have to say I've never heard of. Thankfully, the album was available on amazon as a download only thing. I'm listening now and it's just as good away from the film as in it. It's like the best of Richard Rodney Bennett.
Rob Lester just gave me the best Christmas present in a long long time! I'm still in shock.http://www.talkinbroadway.com/sound/dec1312.html
Jane, what kinds of trees do you have that are turning color?

Just wondering what all the color is. I take it the golden ones are oak. I wonder what the yellow one is.
And there's a really pretty reddish pink -- maple?

We don't get those trees in the desert. There are some in the mountains. In the desert most of our trees keep their tiny leaves. Around the creeks there are sycamores, ash, cottonwoods that change color. A few people have ash trees as yard trees.
