Too much dental work going on at HHW these days.

Well, my visit "tomorrow" is just for a small filling replacement -- a filling that, though it's on one of my upper front and center teeth, I seem to be totally unaware that I even had. I trust I shall be enlightened on this matter "tomorrow".

Had a quick meal (need to eat again - I only had small scoops of chicken salad and egg salad - I'd ordered fries, but only had about four of them, as Sami decimated that plate quickly), then we had a long and really fruitful work session.

I like both of these better than tuna salad...except for the one I had just this past weekend which is probably first tuna salad that has EVER satisfied in my ever so humble opinion. It had been made with "just enough" mayonnaise, keeping it from being a runny milky bland mess, and just a couple of extra ingredients from the norm made it absolutely delicious. I need to get the recipe. No, actually, strike that. I shouldn't have to. It just ain't that hard to do.

Youngblood Hawke, another Delmer Daves special this one starring Mr. Novak himself, James Franciscus and Pleshette and Genevieve Page, who needed a English dialog coach....I can't understand hardly anything she is saying. She is beautiful though.

Page doesn't talk much in this trailer - but she makes Eva Gabor sound like John Gielgud.

I decided I do not like using my kindle app on my Nook and will only do so if it is the only way to read the book, or Keith already purchased it.

I return my physical (paper) books, of course, but whether my Wi-Fi is turned on or not, the e-books that I check out from the library for my Kindle are automatically "checked in" in OverDrive when my loan period is over and the next patron DOES get to check them out. That happens even when I don't sync up my Kindle through Wi-Fi and the e-books aren't actually deleted from my Kindle. Those are two separate functions.

I am sorry, but I haven't the slightest idea what any of you are talking about. This whole conversation left me feeling more stupid than usual. I go to the library to borrow books. I go to Amazon to buy books. The rest is just chaos.

I had lunch with my friend, Sharry, today. While I was being sick on the high seas, she and her husband were in NYC seeing some shows. They saw either five or six shows, all of them in preview.

They saw THE VISIT for the second time. They saw it last year when they were in Virginia. Sharry loved it, but she doubts it will be a success on Broadway.

They went to New York specifically to see their friend Brad Oscar in SOMETHING ROTTEN. They said the show is hysterical and that Brad should get a Tony nomination for his performance.

That wasn't what I meant by my comment. I know that Overdrive works with Kindle. I'm saying that Overdrive lets you return e-pub ebook files which are different from Kindle book files. You cannot return a Kindle ebook once it's checked out but you can return an e-pub book when you've finished it. It's why I will not take a Kindle ebook if I have a choice between Kindle and e-pub.
