Brent was never married to anyone who has sung on an album.  Brent was with someone for many years, but that ended a few years ago, and he is now with someone else.

My recording marrieds include Sal Viviano and Liz Larsen, Charles Kimbrough and Beth Howland - can't remember if there's anyone else.

I dearly wish I had been able to see and hear our very own BK reading, and of course it pains me greatly not to have been able to bow and scrape in front of the Sexiest Man Alive, although I trust that those who were in attendance bowed and scraped in my stead.

Well, I gave him a hug and a kiss!

And I would like to thank DR Elmore for his wonderful "Christmas Card"!  We listened to the CD on our trip home, and found it all wonderful.

Thank you!  I'm glad that you enjoyed it.  It was such fun to finally meet you.  Did you get to the Virgin Megastore?

Speaking of The World's Sexiest Man Alive (a.k.a. Brent Barrett), someone a couple of weeks ago (maybe) said that he was married to someone who had sung on one of BK's CDs, either Lost in Boston or Unsung Musicals.  I would like to know to whom is he married, so I will ask:  "To whom is he married?"  Anyone know??

DRGeorge, BB is not married.

Favorite Torch song:

"Skylark"  -- I don't think I've ever heard anyone do this song badly, which is strange because I think it's a difficult song to perform.  My favorite rendition is probably kd lang's on the Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil soundtrack.

My most favorite version of this song is by Bette Midler.  It was actually the first version that I ever heard of the song...well, that I took notice and remembered. ::)

Midler's version was my introduction to the song, too.  She comes a close second to kd lang.

Horses for courses. Frightening thought to me. Midler and Skylark.
For me: k.d. or Linda R. And of course Ella.

Torch songs. I agree with so many of the choices. I think Jerry Herman gave us two of the best - "Time Heals Everything," as Ginny mentioned. And "If He Walked Into My Life" (Eydie Gorme) - that is, before Dan (the Man) gave us his version.

I just requested a copy of the soundtrack to "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" so that I could hear k.d. lang's version of Skylark.  There is only one copy in the entire 27-branch library district and two people are already in the holds list to get it...one was added in June and the other in July!  It'll be a while before I get to hear this version. ::)

This morning I went on a birdwalk at the zoo, and this is what I saw:

(kinglets are very small and very flitty and difficult to photograph)
